I have a V2 as well as a mini, and it is a paradox. The mini is SO comfortable to use, looks great, and is the perfect weight for a vaping session. For me (just my personal opinion and experience - yours may be VERY different), it frustrates me because the battery life with the 18350's is just a no-go for me. I vape like a chimney, and am lucky to get 3 to 4 hours off of one little battery. I putzed around with many different configurations - tried single coil cartomizers, tried to use it as an exclusive dripping PV, etc - but still - that damn. blinking. light.
I know I can use it with my 18490s and the extended cap but then it's just like my regular Provari - except with teardrops carved into it. If I ever get to the point that I can reduce my consumption, the smaller configuration may eventually work for me - but as of now, she is lovingly packed away in my backup drawer - waiting for that day.
If it wasn't such a good looking mod, I wouldn't feel bad about it - but as much as I would love to make it my primary PV, the battery performance is just too much of a compromise. While my V2 performs identically (electronically speaking), the ability to use an 18650 makes it my go-to mod. Depending on your vaping style and volume, the mini with the 18350 may very well be perfect for you. And if it is, I'm jealous
I'm not trying to be a debbie downer - just passing along one guys experience with the mini - YMMV.
