Hello ECF,

I'm looking into buying a Blue/Black/Red Provari Mini (F!@K EVICS!! TERRIBLE QUALITY/OVERHYPED), but have a question.

What tank would you recommend? I like 510 cartomizer tanks, but which one? I'm looking for specifically a nice Blue/Black/Red one that goes well with the colors listed above Provari Mini's finish. I also would like it to be a pyrex/glass tank.

Any recommendations or help would be fantastic!

Thanks.

Take a look at the OCD tanks from IBTanked. They have an assortment of colored anodized tanks with matching drip tips. I do not know how those colors will match to the provari colors though. IBT also paints the tubes with various colors upon request. The tube are pyrex.

I LOOOVE the Protank clearomizer. I've tried so many others but I've found that it's just so consistent. No leaking even if it's in a bag all day/upside down, and no flooding. It's a bit fragile since it's glass but the benefits of it not leaking and having a consistent vape outweigh the negatives of it's fragility.

22mm IBTanked with Pro Ring "beauty rings"

The 19mm diameter IBTanks fit the tapered top of a Provari best. The caps are stainless steel.

The 22mm diameter tanks are the same diameter as the Provari's body, and with some Pro Rings can have a clean aesthetic look top to bottom. These also have the option of the SS caps or colored anodized aluminum caps.

Here's a comparison of tank lengths; an XL alongside a standard length on Provari's. Keep in mind that the length of tank will determine what length carto it will need.

Thank you everybody for the advice and their recommendations. This has helped me tremendously and I think I have an idea on which tank to purchase.

@Baditude, Would you recommend the 25mm standard tube for the Provari Mini? I'm looking for a standard sized tank, hence I have plenty of the standard sized cartos. Or would you recommend a different size tank (i.e. 22mm, 19mm, etc)? & what cap size would I need for the 25/22/19mm tank (whichever is best for the Provari Mini)?

I wouldn't personally use the 25mm diameter tank for a Provari. Aesthetically it would look huge and be top heavy. The Provari's body is only 22 mm in diameter.

As I showed in the above photos of provari's, the 19mm tanks will be the same diameter at the Provari's top cone. The 22mm will be the same diameter as the Provari's main body, and looks best with a Pro Ring beauty ring which you'd need to purchase from one of the 3rd party vendors that sell them.

The graphic that shows the two lengths of tanks and what brand cartomizers they can use should also help you.

So in essence, order either a 19 or 22 mm standard size tank to use your standard size carto's. Order the same diameter caps as the diameter tubes you order. Simple.

Hey guys, just one last question.

Since I like having my tanks all the way flush against the device, will I need an adapter type thing for the provari? I've heard that ecig devices need airflow, and with provaris if you push the tank all the way down flush that there won't be any airflow. Is this true?

If so, can somebody link me to where I can purchase an airflow connector?

The Protank sits flush without any airflow issues in my experience. Oddly enough, I have to back off a turn when I use a Tatroe tank with the Protank base or it's like sucking a golf ball through a straw. I use flanged cartos on my carto tanks. So, there's already a gap there and, as a consequence, no airflow issues. So, I guess you could say it really depends on what you put on top of it.

I do use a hippo air flow controller. But, I really only use it to make my 22mm carto tanks look better.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, both of you. I especially like the pictures you posted about how the provari looks with the hippo. Looks really good btw. Is that an ibtanked 22mm tank btw? If it is, I'm getting the same one. & if I read your reply correctly, you're saying there's no need for the hippo? Let me know.

Also, is the hippo sold anywhere else? It's currently out of stock when I press that link.

Yup, it is. I love their tanks. Great price, great quilty, and they look nice.

I don't find it necessary for functionality with an IBTanked carto tank. It's just a "vanity" item.

I bought mine from VaporRev, but it looks like they are out of stock too.

By the way, anybody know where to buy the cheapest 18490 AW IMR batteries for the Provari Mini?
