Evening all.

Well , i ordered 23 3 ohm cartys in steel', so i could punch my own. and guess what? they came in the color steel, as in the sticky wrapper thingies, and these things were impossible to peel off, and took me forever using propyglycol and i ended up having to use the back end of scissors to scrape the rest off, then when i tried to push the freakin carty up, it got stuck, and then the carty leaked when filling because the hole was too big, and trying to line up the carty with the tank and not go too far down, totally backfired and the 6ml tank of juice landed on my comforter.

so in closing, i'd like to say, that i'd rather punch a hole in my head, then ever do this again. If there is no flange on the bottom of your carty and your using a maptank. you are taking your chances every single time.

Me?, i'm spending the extra money on pre punched flange cartos every single time. no way i'm going thru that again. good luck chuck.'

If you prefer pre-punched, there's no harm in that.

I've recently started using a Phiniac. If there's a way to get juice everywhere, I'll find it. My advice for tanks:

- Never ever mess with your tank if it's not on a battery. I use a couple of Egos, or I just make sure it's on my Lavatube. (My Provaris just shipped.)

- Get a Slap Your Mama from Big Daddy Vapors. Video here.

- I like the saddle valve. Admittedly, I just started using it yesterday. If it gets blunt, I'll have my husband file it or something.

- Tanks should only be worked on sitting at a table, over a paper towel, because I will still manage to screw it up if at all possible.:p

hahaha, Foggy, you sound like me.

i've heard alot of great things about the slap your mama tank'.

i played with the punching my own, but i'm just really over it, thats all'. like really over it'.

and yah, i sit in my bed with a large roll of paper towels with my maptanks.

a regular carty fill up, takes one paper towel', and a maptank fill up takes 5 . lol

So I haven't picked up my regular Provari V1 since I got the mini. Just vapes with it with the 18650battery and cap on. Holy cow, this thing is so huge! It's like a batan during a marathon! I haven't realized since now how better the mini is till now. I mean yea comparing them I see its shorter, but taking and using the V1 when I went out, did I realize how huge this thing really is. Then I went back to my mini, you can actually drive with the p-mini in one hand while taking a sip of coffee in the other hand (the V1 was a huge hassle and huge overall!)

Oh, and is anyone else getting this high pitched ringing sound while vaping? Seems like its coming from the battery and you can hear the current passing through the battery into my carto/tank. Anyone else getting that?

Edited add on: never thought I'd say this bc I wanted the blue led for so long, I'm kinda liking the red a little better. With the blue it's hard to see in the sun, and is like a baby blue color. If they come out with the black mini-I'm buying it haha. Hopefully they make the black satin mini using a green LED

I kinda like the red a little better too but the blue is growing on me. Red wavelengths in LEDs is always more appealing to the human eye which is why they are on taillights. I dont think the reg vari is huge but yes the mini is just super small . I only got the high pitched soud twice and it was only when using a specific atty at a specific voltage. Havent got it on the mini yet.

Oh good, I was hoping it was something like that. Thanks!

I believe that it is doing the same thing you just can't hear it with the maptank. There isn't as much sound deadening with just the 3 ohm carto and no tank. It fires when you check the battery or the atomizer ohms but can't hear it fire with some cartos.

Got my mini yesterday and I'm in love. This is what I have been looking for!!! Just a couple of tiny issues.

I ordered a 510/ego adapter at the same time so I could use my stardust, (visions eGo clearomizer). The carto's work perfectly on my eGo batteries. When I put the adapter on my mini and put the stardust on, I get no power whatsoever. It won't fire at all. Also put the adapter on my box mod and tried the startdust... same thing, nothing. It's like the adapter isn't making contact at all with the carto. Do you think it's a bad adapter?? The provari mini works great and the stardusts work great. The adapter seems to be the problem. Anything I can try or just see about getting a replacement for the adapter??

Also, at first the firing button was trying to stick a little. Go to push the button in to vape and it wouldn't depress. I turned the button in a clockwise position to kind of tighten it in place and so far, no more sticking. Almost felt like the button was a tiny bit loose at first.

Any thoughts on the adapter??

take something flat like a small flat head and pry the center pins of the connector out a little bit and it should work . As for the button theres no tightening loosing on it since it just a cap laying over the actual button underneath so it was probably dust or something in between.

Must be the adapter, yes. I have several of the lower res Stardusts and believe me if you like them, you're going to love them on the Mini. Try Str8's suggestion, or a different adapter if that doesn't work.

Could you put up a pic with the Stardust?

It has become my go to carto. I'm currently using them on a black and gold IPro, but I'm looking for a VVPV that is substantially shorter. I also don't care for the way they fit with a 510 extension on the IPro.

Thanks str8... I will try that. I can't wait to try these stardusts on my mini!!!
