I've seen quite a few posts where Provari owners use other devices when they go out. You know, the "my 'vari is my baby, I only use it at home and don't want to risk taking it out" posts.

I understand they're not $50 MVP's but we walk out of our homes with expensive cell phones, tablets, laptops, etc. so why won't you take your Provari on the road? Is it just the money or is it inconvenient in some way?

I'm not trying to start a fight. I'm just curious as I do see myself with a Provari mini at some point.

You've got to keep reading. That mentality lasts for about two weeks or until it's dropped for the first time onto a hard surface.

Do like I did. The first 3 days I babied my provari in the house only & gave it a cottonball and alcohol rub down every night. On the 4th day I went out in the middle of the driveway, provari in my right hand at my side about waist high, and let 'er go. After I got over that sick to my stomach feeling, I picked up my baby only to notice a small scratch on the extension cap. Now she goes with me everywhere.

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
I take my nicer ProVaris out and match them to my outfit. I use one of those I bought off the classies as my workhorse and I don't worry about what it looks like. That's the one that usually ends up looking like Frankenstein with different parts of different colors when I'm sitting at home using the big batteries...lol

Glad to see you survived the "I have MVP and Provari" thread PLANofMAN. Didn't think anyone was getting out of that one alive.

My Provari is like a body part to me. I only have one, it's my only device and it's with me all the time. I do want to get a black mini with blue led and do that super nice brass accent kit to it, can't recall who makes it right now, but its spendy and looks like it belongs in a gentleman's club =]

I thought about replying to your post in that thread when I saw it, but I figured it was best to let sleeping dogs lie. I will respond to this one, since you didn't see the posts in question before they were deleted. All those deleted posts had very little to do with the MVP or ProVari and consisted mostly of people insulting each other's intelligence. One person even said they would punch the other person in they didn't happen to live in different countries. I was in there telling them to knock it off before they got themselves banned.

It was rather exciting. The irony of the situation was that it was two ProVari owners arguing over an MVP.

The "Cingulum Compleo" set?

I have a silver "beater" that I bought on the classies awhile ago. Even though my husband & I put it through hell it's held up really well. The great thing about the satin silver is it conceals scratches nicely. My stealth & zombie generally stay home because if I'm out & about drinking I'm gonna end up losing something at some point (blame it on my ADD baby!).. & I'd rather it be a $20 evod setup, or "the beater" than one of those guys!

I have gotten out of the "baby" my 'vari' stage. It probably has something to do with the fact I now have a mini and a blue standard as backups.

Despite the fact, I still love and use my MVP's for overnight travel. It has nothing to do with babying my 'vari' at this point. The MVP is just simply more convenient to travel with. No external chargers, no extra batteries, just my device and my phone charger (which I bring for my phone anyway).

If I went on a cruise or vacation I'd just bring a couple of MVP's. Simple.

However, day to day at work and at home, my ProVari's get all the use....

Now if ProVape ever came up with a screw in rechargable power pack that could be charged via USB while in the device, then the MVP's would be on permanent vacation. This could replace the passthrough module....
