Ok. I was about to order the Provari then started thinking. What else is coming out soon that is comparable to the Provari? So my question is should i just get the Provari or wait for something in the near future? I dont like the look of the darwin. Does anyone know of any other PVs coming out that has an adjustable voltage?

If you don't want to spend as much, I would suggest a Little Sister, Big Brother, or Big Daddy from Ken's Box mods. I just got a Big Brother, and it is the best decision I ever made. I looked at the Provari too, but it seemed too complicated to me. Of course, you may be into that!

Good suggestions. There is also the new Darwin from nhaler.com. It has the added feature that it senses the resistence of the atty as you vape and automatically adjusts the power level of the PV to provide the ultimate consistency. It also has a 2 year warranty and doubles as a pass-though if you need it to. One charge lasts 24 to 35 hours for heavy vaping.

I also have a big brother, but im not into box mods that much. I like it tho. Would be hard to get rid of but if it gives me a chance to get all my mods in one. that sounds good to me. I would even sell the infinity, lol

Yeai have an infinity..too small. Considered the buzz but had already bought the infinity so that went out the window. Doesnt the provari sense the resistance as well?

No, you have to sense it yourself and then change the setting manually. I think the ProVari is a top PV but I don't like how many times you have to hit the button to go through all the menu options. To me it gets too distracting. Plus I really LOVE the batteries on the Darwin. Being able to go at least 24 hours on one charge is liberating.

The darwin does sound good but its kinda funny looking. Do you have to flip the mouth piece up? I think i would break that off eventually. 24 hours off one charge does sound nice tho. After alls said and done it cost like three hundred. Provari cost like two hundred

What??? The Darwin costs $229 COMPLETE. The ProVari, with the charger, batteries, extender cap and extended warranty to match what comes with the Darwin costs I believe $25+ more than the Darwin.

The arm is made of brass and is very sturdy as is the complete anodized body of the device. It's like a tiny tank. With a two year warranty, I have no concerns.

I personally don't like the looks nor the built in battery. At least when they go on my provarie or buzz i can swap them.Panic charge runs low and you don't have a portable plug in to charge or use.

Those in the Darwin thread who have had the device for several weeks are telling us 24 hours is a minium and that many are getting 32 hours plus on a charge. If you charge it every night, there would never be a need for any "panic charge runs" as with every other PV.

But the ProVari is a fine PV - I'm in no way knocking it. Just pointing out the differences.

They both seem like a fine pv, i like tube mods over box mods, seems like that part of my desicion. What if the batt goes dead after two years ? How much will it be to replace that darwin bat? LOL

I kinda feel like i almost started a debate>>>>>>oooopsie.. lol

I believe around $25. You can solve the issue by buying both. That is what I did and I use both daily now. Both PV's are very nice and in the end it comes down to what you like personally. Either way in my opinion you can't go wrong with a Vari or a Darwin. Both are built nicely and both are amazing PV's. Best of luck and which ever unit you choose I am certain you will be more than happy!

The batteries have a one year warranty and are replaceable.

Wow the OP stated they don't like the looks of the Darwin yet the fanboys still turn this into a Darwin thread. reading comprehension isn't what it used to be.

There are plenty of solid variable voltage mods out there with varying features. Make a list of what is truly important to you then do some research. As for waiting, well there will always be something new and shiny just around the corner so you could wait forever or make the jump in and get vaping.

The OP asked for suggestions for the newest VV PV on the market and several of us accurately suggested he look at the Darwin. He then had been given some inaccurate information on the cost and features of the device and we simply corrected that information. How is that being a "fan boy"?? Trying to turn an honest exchange of information into something it is not as well as being insulting about it, is childish and immature.
