That's good that you get that long, but it doesn't seem to be the norm. I think the ProVari is an excellent PV but I think on average the Darwins battery will last a good bit longer on a charge for most. I decided to run a "battery charge test" of my own on the Darwin starting Thursday morning. I'm at 17 hours currently and the battery indicator is showing 3/4 charge right now. I usually hit the sack about 12:30 and will plug it in tonight. So I will be getting 27 hours at that point. I work from home so I vape constantly. As long as I can get 17 hours on a charge, then I will never have to worry about a dead battery at an inopertune time.

I do agree the darwin does have a much longer life batt in it it is a proved fact but when it dies its in down time ,they count on you to charge it every night because this shortens batt life and you will have to call them or probably one of their resellers to purchase this item...not knocking it at all like i said b4 the Darwin is a great device but in design i would have to say fail ,,juice can leak into the unit .. if dropped just right the arm could break ...wounderfull pv....fail design....

Not realy an arm to break, but a pivoting connector made of brass. The arm is your attie and can break just as it would on any other device. Actualy less chance of snapping attie when closed than with any other pv...design +1

Slumdog...have you ever actually held/used one? You are giving out opinion as fact. They actually did a 'juice test' and soaked it pretty good and it passed with flying colors. I'm not sure where you're getting your info from. 2nd what Timato said about the atty ARM.

And when its charging, it is NOT in down time, you have the option of using it as a passthrough. I have it plugged in right now and vaping happily away.

I use the Provari and the 18650 with extender gives me 2-3 days easy. The regular batts do well too, about 1 1/2 days. depends on your vaping habits. I think it is a fantastic PV and when I go through security at airports the TSA guys think it is a medical device, or a rocket ship, they think it is awesome, ordered the Ali'i and I hear nothing but the best about that as well. Like someone said, choosing between a ferrari, or maserati.

And as I have stated earlier I will take both. Each unit is really awesome. If I had to pick one over the other I would draw straws. If tomorrow I lost both I would replace both! You can debate about design, round versus square, replacable batt versus onboard etc., but the fact is both are designed extremely well and both are very robust. In the end it comes down to personal preferance between the two. These are top of the line American designed and made and will provide many hours of happy vaping which ever unit you choose. Either way you can't go wrong. Simply pick D or P and let the waiting for the postman begin. If you are fortunate enough to be able to get both then take bets on which one shows up first.

Of the two, I've only tried the Provari. I planned to buy both, and back up my favorite of the two with the second favorite one. After a few days with the Provari, I instead ordered an identical unit as a backup. The Darwin might be better, but the Provari does consistently give me enough TH, vapor, flavor, and warmth of hit. I can use my 18650s in my other mods also.

I took 40 huge drags, at 4.3 volts, with a 2.9 res carto, on a freshly charged batt (shorter 1100 mAh AW IMR 18490/500 High Drain batt). After 40 of these 15 second drags, my battery voltage read 3.5 volts -- basically ready to charge, but not belly up. I figure I get about 100 normal 6-second drags from one of these batts.

With 2 Provaris, a Silver Bullet, and a dozen 18650s plus 6 18500s, I could vape through an extended power outage or weekend camping trip. :2cool:

Yeai have an infinity..too small. Considered the buzz but had already bought the infinity so that went out the window. Doesnt the provari sense the resistance as well?

A VV PV that is too small? That's a unique complaint I think.

I have a Buzz and an Infinity. Both vape all day for me, and spare batteries are inexpensive, so I have one set charging while using the other. The Infinity is about the length of a KR808, a tiny bit longer and not quite the diameter of a roll of dimes. That is too small? I guess if box mods are your prefered profile... I looked at the ProVari and thought it was both too big and too pricey.

Question Provari or ???????? need some opions!!

Ok. I was about to order the Provari then started thinking. What else is coming out soon that is comparable to the Provari? So my question is should i just get the Provari or wait for something in the near future? I dont like the look of the darwin. Does anyone know of any other PVs coming out that has an adjustable voltage?

not sure if thiswas mentioned already but if your looking for vari volt . A highly recommended piece is at Vapormoon.comn and Lawrence is giving 10% off. Code = cool10

There was alot of good reviews about this piece on elixer tv, and all of them are well known in the vapor community

I have both the Darwin and Provari. When I first got both units, I leaned more toward the Provari. When I started switching back and forth, I have come to enjoy the Darwin much more. 2 main reasons. Battery life and the way it draws. The provari draw is a little too airy for me. I also get some E1 and E2 errors with the Provari that I do not get with the Darwin....With that said, both are great units. I'm just saying, for me, if I had to choose just one, it would be the Darwin.

I personally can't say which is better, I have a Darwin but not the provari. From what I know, very similar. Both top of the line with slight differences. Think anyone would be happy with either.

Yup will be back late on the 25th. Can bring the Vari, Provape and Infinity if you would like to try them. I am sure Cusguy will pack heavy too so it should be fun
