Regarding the shape of the darwin. I too was hesitant about that shape. But again, the features sold me. Now that I have one and use it all day, the shape is actually a good thing. It fits perfectly in the hand. And you don't need to put the arm straight up to use it. So I usually have mine sitting at about a 45 degree angle, then with the unit in my hand I hold the unit sorta perpendicular from my face and off to the side with my thumb pushing the button. This is so convenient and comfortable that IMHO it is the ideal position for vaping.

?45....?perpendicular!!??......Hmmm ..better get a PV.

This thread helped me decide to buy a Provari also, so thanks for making it.

Any of you Provari users have a Vapemate you use with it? Would that be a good idea? Thinking about ordering one now just for the ease of not having to drip.

Excellent idea!!

Get one!!

It will keep it from falling off stuff.

If you put it on.

ripoff.com has one complaint about Nhaler where they refused to refund a customer.. ProVape has none.

Nhaler was also sellin Phidias which were not endorsed by Fono, the creator, himself. Lastly, and most importantly, I had a drip tip from Nhaler that broke at the base within 1 day.

Jus sayin'. I'm tired of this Darwin/ProVari is better argument, but there are facts and then there are opinions.

Fact is the only differences are: Darwin is rectangular shape vs ProVari's round shape & Darwin will senses the resistance of an atty automatically/adjust accordingly vs you have to do that manually with the ProVari. Last difference is the Darwin's battery is internal, which means when it finally dies you have to throw it away, just like an iPhone. (EDIT: nHaler will replace a dead battery for $25; just have to send the unit to them)

Correct me if I'm wrong, which I'm sure you guys will.

Issaac - Sorry to hear about your issues with nHaler. I have purchased many times from both ProVape and nHaler and I have personally not had any issues. For me both companies are on my short list of Suppliers I do business with regularly. I have both devices and I am fully enjoying both. The Vari is topped off with a Clouds of Vapor MAP and the Darwin has a Ikenvape V2 gold drip carto. Two more Suppliers I buy from regularly also. I was heisitant about the sealed batt on the Darwin but for $25 they will put a new batt in when it finally meets its maker. So the last fact should be when batt dies you need to send it back to Evolv and get batt replaced vs buying a new 18650 or 18490 for the Vari. Happy vapes and big clouds to you.

hey no problem, Nhaler is def a great vendor/supplier! Both units are great. Pick your poison! Can't go wrong with either!

How do you like the bottom feeder? I just placed an order for a Reo Mini and that will be my first bottom fed MOD. Do you use it more than the Vari or is it more like a sit in the lazy boy and chill machine? Anyway the Darwin was feeling like odd man out with all the tube MODs near it and I thought it could use a box shaped companion!

I love my bottom feeder!! So easy to use and always ready! I like it so much I bought lawman's ReoGrand from the classifieds! I haven't touched any of my mods since I got the Phidias. I might actually sell them.. Not sure yet. But this bottom feeder thing is the way to go; I got tired of dripping constantly.. my map tank is ok and I still use it on my VV's.. But I have a feeling once you get used to bottom feeders you never go back.

I ordered the ProVari a little prematurely as I was very very new to vaping.. Oh well, it works great as a book weight ;)

Come on, guys ... :)

[RAMBLE]
I just have to vent a little - since today I've ordered the Provari Chrome w. end cap.... YIPPIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !
One of the reasons is to maybe/probably pair it with the (new) A2 stainless atty. I think that they'll go together.
Darwin is the BEEEEEESST.
[/RAMBLE]

[Bell] Start round two.

Have fun - we're in this together (more or less).

I might add- the Darwin battery has a one year warranty. So basically a full year of not having to buy any battery for it, and then maybe have to buy a new battery for $25 after the first year. How many batteries will the average Provari user have to buy in that same amount of time? $25 worth??? ;-)

Nope I have been charging mine off my USB port on a Dell laptop.

Fair enough, but you are still connected to something with a cable. That would be a substantial drawback for a lot of people. Not everyone spends their days close to a USB port or wall socket. The Darwin's substantial battery life obviously offsets that somewhat but it's still less than ideal.
