If all you use is clearos and suchlike then yeah a provari will be fine. For the same money you could also buy 5 MVP's which would also be fine for clearos.

Hard question to answer without knowing your bank balance, attitude to risk and vaping style/habits.

Really? Is that all you use on yours? You should try a KFL+, it will rock on your ProVari with a micro-coil. Granted on my regulated devices I aim for about 1.4Ω or above (anything lower is for a mechanical), but the vapor and flavor are quite nice.

To the OP: If price is an issue, the MVP gets very good reviews. Many people who have ProVarii also have an MVP. It doesn't have a ≈33.3hz "rattlesnake" chip, so the vape is much smoother. The main downsides are what to do if it needs to be repaired and once it's dead, it's dead. I've never quite understood the rationale of You can buy 5 of X for the cost of 1 Z. What does that matter unless one is anticipating X will need to be replaced.

Anyway, please don't interpret my comments to mean everyone should get a ProVari. We are very lucky at this point in vaping, since we have so many choices of gear. What makes me happy might bore the stuffing out of someone else. I always suggest people think about what they want from vaping right now. If you buy something a bit more advanced than you feel comfortable with, thinking that as you get more experienced you'll grow into it, by the time you do there will be a new toy on the market. I further recommend that when the person has narrowed it down to a few devices, they browse the sub-forums to see what current owners have to say.

I'm Provari and MVP 2 owner and I think both are worth the money for the right people. There is a love/hate thing with Provari because the Provari doesn't have some of the functions that different types of vapers need. Some need very high wattage, and they would do better with a mech mod and a sub ohm coil, or DNA device that can be set that high.

Other's need the set it and forget it function that variable watts would provide, my husband and sister included. If not for variable watts, neither would be vaping. Both would be smoking. They not only want, but NEED variable watts. They NEED the same hit each time, with the press of a single button, just one time. Vaping isn't a hobby for either of them, and the one button menu of the Provari would drive both insane. They don't know, nor want to know ohms law. They don't pay attention to what the resistance of the coil they are purchasing is. They want to screw a topper on, hit the fire button, and have it work exactly the same as the last topper.

If you are like me though, a Provari is perfect and worth every penny. I like to adjust the settings depending on the juice I'm vaping. I switch juice throughout the day, and was adjusting the MVP anyway. I found my workhorse toppers that I prefer and was no longer spending money on each thing I came across. I decided that I would be vaping for a very long time, and the FDA's proposed regulations got me thinking that I wanted something that would last the long haul should those regulations affect the availability of mods in general. I could have gone with mech mods, but I wanted a regulated mod so I could adjust the hit to what I needed throughout the day without needing to build a coil at another resistance. I have no intentions of sub - ohming and no desire to vape at 30 watts. For ME, the Provari offered everything I needed. The only other devices I would consider is Hana and Semovar, but Hana is hard to find and Semovar is in another country. It would be far harder to get it repaired.

I've never experienced a device that ran on a 33 htz chip, so I can't comment on the allegedly smoother vape found on a DNA device, Provari, and the MVP. If my first, cheap, blister pack, variable volt ego counts as a 33 htz device, then yes, the vape is much better with my MVP and Provari. I'm sure there are other factors that come into play with the ego though, including voltage drop as the day goes on, etc.... The MVP lasts so long that I charge it before anything is noticeable and the Provari doesn't seem to experience that.

If you watch Phil's videos closely, the implication is that ProVape will be coming out with a new device, not an update to the ProVari. The ProVari sells just fine the way it is. The owners spoke of setting up new equipment and finding sources for components of their upcoming product; that doesn't make sense if they were just planning on adding features to the ProVari.

Maybe they're coming up with a topper to go with the provari.

Only one problem with that. Do you even know what chemestry your battery is?

Just so you will know, it's a LiPo. Now type "worlds most dangerous battery" into your search engine, and see what comes up.

I will not use any PV that I don't have the ability to choose what type of battery I will use in it.

Im my month of debating which PV to buy, I read everything I could on the MVP and NEVER read about 1 exploding. I am sure that ANY battery if misused could explode. Your statement seems to be a blanket statement about a certain product. That is not fair to the LEGIONS of people that have an MVP 2 and are very happy with them. I have never bashed a Provari and would not think to, as I have not used one. I have heard terrific things about them though.

I have also had conversations with Baditude about the MVP and he was very complimentary as well about them. Buy what you like and sing it from the mountain tops. I happen to love my MVP 2 and my Mech and use my batteries responsibly.

ProVape is the place to purchase the ProVari. If I were you I would purchase one now cause no one knows when the V3 will be out. Anyway, the V2.5 imo is as good as it gets with respect to a VV mod. I don't feel they will ever go out of style. Just saying!!

Thanks a bunch, just ordered :)

I only have one Provari. I do have some old ego batts and a broken down(bad threads) Vamo. I have had my Provari a little over a year, with 0 issues. I too had trouble justifying the cost, but once you buy one, there is no more cost. I am still using my original IMR Batts. I did buy a back up set of Batts and another Nite core charger,as I worry about those failing. I DO NOT worry about the Provari. I read where people have 2-3 and I'm not judging,I just wonder why. After my dearest bought a galaxy 5,I said,I was going to get a new Provari, but just don't see a reason to do so. If I were to have trouble,I know it can be fixed or I will have a new one in a day or two,as they ship faster than what their web site says. I am a very frugal (not cheap) person,I use a Trac Fone, but I have never once regretted my Provari purchase. It has more than paid for itself.

I've got a Vamo V5 but just because I wanted to make sure I was going to stick with Vaping. My opinion is you get what you pay for!
Anyone have a sponsor they would recommend to purchases it from?
I want to wait for the new but I'm getting impatient!

Provape, or you could get verified and see what shows up in the classifieds. => http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ember-explained-more-detail-faq-included.html

I'm sure Provape is really, really pleased with Pbusardo for starting yet another unfounded rumor... that would stop existing Provari sales dead in their tracks. Yeah, every really really smart manufacturer does that - tells everyone to stop buying what they sell and to wait for a product that doesn't exist yet.

I can't speak for all multiple Provari owners, but I can speak for myself and a few friends who own more than one. (I own three).

My first Provari was the standard size. I wanted a shorter one, a Mini, for something more pocket-friendly when I'm out and about. Before getting the Mini, I wasted about $150 on two lesser quality mods for an out-and-about vaporizor. One fell apart after 6 weeks use, and the other one was...meh, not a Provari. I should have spent that money on the Mini to begin with. (My third Provari was a gift.)

Many of us are so impressed/spoiled with the quality and the superior vaping experience, that we couldn't imagine being without one should it need to go out for repair...if even for a few days. The best backup for a Provari is another Provari.

Since Provape offers so many color options, people often want multiple colors for their mod collection.

I have two friends who recently got their first Provari's after seeing/using mine. Within a couple of days they said they loved theirs so much they were going to get another in a different color.

It's not an unfounded rumor. The owners themselves confirmed that the prototype is ready for production, but they are working out the final manufacturing process for mass production. Phil vaped a finished prototype during his tour (off camera). Have you not yet seen the video?

Provape heard Phil was coming to the vapebash in Washington, and invited him to tour and film their facility. His video tour and interview with Provape executives has created more excitement & free advertising for Provape than anything that they could come up with by hiring an advertising firm. IMHO, a smart move by Provape.

There has always been a segment of potential Provari customers who have been waiting for a Provari 3.0. Those customers who need/want a Provari now will not wait on the Provari 3. I'm sure the current Provari will still be popular even when Provari 3 is released. This is a unique product, just like that Techniques turntable (see the video) that continued to be a best seller for years despite other so-called improved models that were released thereafter.
