I was using just a plain 510 bridgeless for a while to taste test DIY, but I got a little annoyed with cleaning it out all the time. So all did was wrap a ton of quick and dirty 1.5ish ohm coils for my IGO-L and tossed them in a ziplock. If I want to taste something, even juice I buy to see if its steeped, I just toss a new coil on my IGO and do that way. I figure it takes me all of a minute or two to do that and I can throw it away when I'm done with it. Putting a new coil and wick in there coats like 5 cents if that so it's pretty cost effective too.

Hey Provari fam! I'm thinking about ordering a HH 357 from avid vaper for sampling new juices. Im about to embark on my lil DIY adventure & just want something that'll last for a while & that works well. Im sure mixing on my own will lead to a lot of sampling lmbo! Does anyone have one of these? What are you guys using?

Thats great DIY is a lot of fun.
For sampling I use to use a little atomizer and clean it with PGA or "Everclear" ,
Now I use a Dripper or Bottom feed RBA and just pull the cotton, do a dry burn and slide a new piece of cotton in the same coil.
I use 100% cotton yarn, so it's cheap.
Have fun with the juice mixing !

I just ordered a provari v2.5 yesterday and it's shipping to Canada right now :) . I just wanna say I always laugh at everyone's I saved this much $$$ vaping. LIES! They've all spent 100's on mods and shiny things, I know I have :vape:

Mine came in Monday and I'm loving it. :toast:

Thanks for the reminder . . . There. Fixed my sig to include vape gear expenses and a rough estimate on juice usage. It even includes a Tatroe base and an EA mod that are on route as I type. I really need to put a hold on gear!

Uh oh. That Dripper Pro chadsmo posted pics of is starting to tug at my wallet

Dedicated?! I only have one (so far). OK, I think I can send my gennies over to the Vamo - or to the EA that I haven't experienced yet.

My only RDA so far is a Saturn Venus (Vision Eternity knock-off) and I do like it. Though its bottom coil is quite cool, it does very well with the thinner Spinner while fishing. I don't think I'll be taking my ProVari off-shore with me.

I seem to be neglecting my honey-do list with all my new vape gear distractions - and I'm behind in building on what I've received at that.

P.S. Dig your sig line. Care to add then, than, it's, its to it? Then/than are as misused as your, you're IME.

Hah! That first video hit all my grammar peeves (and a couple of weaknesses) in 9 minutes. I think he condensed a couple of weeks of elementary English into those 9 minutes. Or is that a whole semester of grammar in college these days?

Lol yeah eh. Btw that guys whole channel is pretty much amazing.

OK, I reverted to my old, 20th century FidoNet/UseNet sig line. Don't suppose any of you remember newsgroups (NOT Google groups!), do you?

Hmm. Vapin' HHV Pirate's Booty and sippin' whiskey. I should probably go off line soon. . .

I really wish I had more bottom feeder clearomizer options for my provari. Are there any other ones that are a bit chubbier other than the Protank?

By bottom feeder, do you meen bottom coil?

If you like bottom coils for the temparature, you might like the Vision Eternity/Saturn Venus. They are rebuildable dripping atomizers that can also be configured to take an Ego-C (-T?) tank. I find that it accepts more juice in dripping mode than the Ego tank holds. Rediculously easy to rebuild, but every site that sells it also sells pre-built coil/wicks. I haven't measured it in terms of ml, so it may not beat the Protank in capacity.

Just a thought.

Well, I went ahead and placed an order for this Precise ELA from Super T. It's an American made mech with a lifetime transferable warranty. I hope that I received this beauty by summer's end.

Wow, that Precise ELA looks sweet! My first mechanical, Electric Angel, sitting in Chicago right now on its way from Finland to my place. I really like the idea behind the Precise's instant, no-thread battery swaps. Wish I'd seen that last week.

On a ProVari note, I got my Tatroe Base today and I am REALLY glad I ordered it. It is soooo stable when I set it down that I can even put it on my wobbly patio table with no worries. Makes me wonder why manufacturers haven't been including these for years. Good for Tatroe, though :)

I received mine yesterday for my two Provari's. I was a little hesitant because of the price and already had extenders, but using the AGA's on both Provari's makes them a little top heavy. Using the Tatroe bases really gives a sense of security that they are not going to ever top over due to my clumsiness. They will also come in handy when keeping my Provari's in the top of my locker at work, as it's not a real level surface. I will no longer fear opening to locker door and worry that a Provari will jar and fall on the floor (not that that has ever happened). They also add quite a bit more heft or weight to the Provari's, but I only use them for work or sitting by the computer.

Keep us posted on that Bad. I've been thinking about it, but my gear lives in my pocket a lot...I'm thinking the tatroe would be a challenge to discreetly pocket. Besides, I'd have to start identifying the v2.5 w/extender cap for what it really is, and my popularity would plummet. :D
Update on the Tatroe bases. Before, figuring out what to do with a Provari while driving the car would drive me nuts. Laying it on the passenger seat was a no-no because turning the car would cause it to roll away from my reach. If I put it in the console cupholder, it would often fall out during turns onto the floor. If I put it between my thighs, I sometimes would forget that it was there and it would fall onto the ground while getting out of the car, also a no-no.

Well, I have found that the added weight of the Tatroe base to the bottom of the Provari seems to prevent it from falling out of the cup holder. :)

Agreed, the Tatroe is not pocket-friendly. Perhaps in the wintertime when wearing a coat with deep pockets it could be. I brought the Mini with its Tatroe base with me to Chipote yesterday and resorted to sliding it between my pants and belt, but I don't want to do that on a regular basis for fear of wearing the finish.
