I'm right there with you!! Trying to decide between the Mini and Standard....yep....I am so indecisive!!....and then there's the matter of color....although I really like the white.....want to design my own wrap though....
Either way, I'm sure we'll both be very happy the day *that* vape mail arrives!! :mail::banana::w00t:

I have a tendency toward being indecisive so my logic was to get the mini. Easy to make the mini take bigger batts if I choose. I got the silver because I don't care for the color options and thought I would go with a carbon fiber wrap, but the silver is so pretty as is I can't see covering it up. If you go with the mini it will be smaller than you think and heavier than you expect.

Another comparison of a regular Provari with a Mini Provari, and how using the Tatroe rings can allow you to go from an 18350 to 18490 to 18650 battery.

No. Cal.
The mini with the extender is where I started and I gratefully use it 90% of the time. I am so glad I went the Provari route because they "work all the time." I go back and forth between using the extender and not, depending on my schedule. It's alsoimportant to think about what you will be using on top of it. ( cartomizers, tanks, RBA's all add length too). I have larger woman's hands for what it's worth. Whatever you decide will be great, because it's a Provari!

No, it's still smaller (but only a tiny bit).

The mini is just a tad bit smaller in the 18500 configuration than the regular size in the same configuration. Really that only matters if you have something like Serenity Gear in the size. My mini is slippy, while the full-size is not.

Side by side comparison of Provari and Mini with cap extension.
Thanks for the responses. I'll probably go with a mini as my backup, just to have something different. I use my regular ProVari in 18650 mode most of the time (big hands, and I like the long battery life), but I can see the "shorty" 18350 size being useful once in a while, with the available options to go bigger if I want to.

You can make the mini bigger, but you can't make the full-sized smaller. And I love my satin silvers! I was going to get a black one, but I went with another silver since I like to wrap them and was concerned about adhesive residue on the black. Not that it would damage the surface, but that I might have to clean it better or it would show.

Get the Mini.... and vape responsibly my friend !

Bad turned me on to the tatroe rings.

The Mini is the bomb....best of both worlds....get tatroe rings to go bigger sizes. The Provari is very efficient..the 18350 will last you most of the day. I actually dont use my rings much anymore because this thing is so much more effecient than the other mod I was using the small batteries really do last. I said that twice didnt I?...... it must be true!!~!

I'm doooooooooooing it. SOON. I have a buttload of OT coming up at work. Once that happens I won't feel guilty at all. :)

You wont be sorry. I worried and worried about the same decision..."wow, 160 bucks...what should I do?" All the while ordering new mods from Fasttech.......ego, ego, ego, ego, ego, ego, MVP, vamo, SVD, MECH, MECH, another SVD, .....then....... PROVARI MINI 2.5 SATIN !!

BAZZINGA !!! My other Mods are either steeping with my juices in my dark place....and the SVD's are in the hands of other family members.

Yeah.....you will like this little jewel..

I'm happy with just the standard cap. To save a little money, so I could get the blue LED, I skipped buying it. I figured I would buy it later, but now I'm not sure I will. I chain vape and still (I think) get about 5 hours out of an 18350 700mAh. I just switch batteries. The mini is small, but it's HEAVY! When I wear it on a lanyard I stuff it in my shirt when I'm walking, so it doesn't swing around and break a rib.

1000mAh eGo Twist, mini, 650mAh regular eGo

ETA: To clarify, I skipped the extension cap to get the blue LED.

I figure, even if I don't go with a standard battery, the battery life on the mini *should* be enough for me. I really only plan on using this at home and use my twists or spinners for work and in the car (yes I might laugh at myself for saying this at some point). I sorta stealth vape at work as it is.

Otherwise, the fact that the batteries charge separately (opposed to the twists) is ideal. I can just have a few going on a charger.

I want the blue display too =)

I was (and still am) a happy eGo Twist user. If it ain't broke, don't fix it type of person. Then I won a Provari here on the Forum which I still think is absolutely stunning of course, what better prize could one ask for.

But! be forewarned that you may end up with a Hyacinth Bucket complex. If you live in a vaping town like I do, you may find yourself using your Provari in public a lot, along with a distinctly haughty and regal look on your face that is basically saying "See the Queen of vaping knowledge, prowess and what's the best! All other PV's are pretenders".

LOLOLOL.

I'm getting mine soon too. I probably wouldn't have gotten one for awhile because of the price, but my recently departed mother left me a little money and she was SO happy I had quit smoking!! She never got to see my gear because by the time I got there she was already in hospice house and sedated heavily. I think she would approve of this though and I'm going to think of it as a special gift from my mama. I will think of her every time I use it, may she rest in peace. I miss her so!! :nun::angel:
