Getting ready to make my 1st Provari order, but am still undecided about two things, the finish and the warranty. My main question is...Who bought the extended warranty? Im trying to figure out what I should do. Also has anyone experienced any problems with their Provari's internal components? If you could also state how long you have had the device, that would also help greatly.

Thanks in advance

I myself have the satin finish, it was the only option available at the time. I ordered it x-mas day and received it in mid Jan. I did opt for the extended warranty. I feel when it comes to anything electronic, you have to. Other problems with electronics have led me to this decision. Now I have not had ANY problems with this pv, but electronics do have a mind of there own. And it is nice to know that the little extra that you spend will asure you that you will have this amazing pv up and running for a total of 2 years. Some people would say you could just buy another or pay to have it fixed, but when your strapped for cash that is not an option. Thats my honest opinion. The satin finish on this is wonderful, I mysef would stay with this finish. Now black and crome are nice but with the use my ProVari see's, I would have to keep a polishing cloth handy, and I would think that the black would show noticeable scratches if dropped. Yes I've dropped mine a few times and you have to really look hard at this finish to see the on this. Hope this helps, but in the end it is up to you.:vapor::headbang::vapor:

I've had mine for a couple months now, I have the Satin finish also because it was all that was available at the time. I also purchased the extended warranty because of problems that I had with a previous PV from a different maker. I won't say which but I think most ppl can figure that out from what's in my sig. Anyway, I too have dropped mine a few times and once it even put a very very small dent in the corner of my 18650 extended cap, you have to look real close to see it. The steel that I dropped it on is quite a bit thicker than the provari! LOL. I can't speak for the black or chrome, but the satin finish will last a very long time with out showing marks. Even where I have the little dent, the finish hasn't changed. I believe the satin finish is just bead blasted, so there's no coating to flake off. As far as the electronics goes, I haven't had a single problem with mine. I believe this unit to be pretty much bullet proof and have a feeling that I will never use the warranty on it, but it's there incase I do.

Ive had my Provari satin finish for a few weeks now. I ordered it with the satin finish and 18650 extended cap. I did not order black or chrome because i didnot feel it was worth the extra $$. I also didnot order the extended warranty mainly because it is not transferrable if you are selling so it does not add value.

I've had mine for about 3 months and have had no issues whatsoever. It's the satin finish, again, because that was the only option at the time. I did see a black one last week and it looked very nice, but I prefer the satin finish still. As far as the extended warranty goes, if there was the slightest chance that in one year I'd still be vaping on my Provari then I'd have bought it. Since I've been vaping about 19 months and have used over a dozen different mods, the odds of something new coming out that I just have to have are so great that it would be a waste of money to buy the warranty for me.

Who bought the extended warranty?
I did. I figured for a $200 PV, the extra few bucks was nothing. I don't plan to replace it next year with the latest/greatest/fastest/turbocharged PV out there, I just want something that works.

Nope, none at all. I have two of them - one I picked up off the For Sale forum here, and the other I ordered through ProVape. Both have worked flawlessly since December/early January, even when I did dumb things. One of my extended endcaps is scratched to hell, because I dropped it in a parking lot. It landed straight down - about the worst possible angle, considering the design. It hit the pavement, the battery bottomed out the spring holding it in place, then ricocheted it back up and slammed it straight into the electronics that are internally exposed (you'll see what I mean when you look inside yours). Other than the scratches, no issues, and it just plugs right along.

It's solidly and reliably built, it's pleasingly substantial to hold, and the features are the best out there, IMO. I've contacted ProVape twice, once to amend my order and once to ask for a favor. Both times got a great response and I have no issues with them on that side, either. If I had the chance to reconsider my purchase(s), I'd do it exactly the same way. No regrets.

I know this is off topic, so I'll say "sorry" now. But I have a question I need answered and if you don't own one the these provaris you might not be able to. The question is this: Have any of you used a ego-t atomizer with your provari? and if so, what adaptor(s) did you use? I have seen some people say a 510 to 901 and a 901 to 510 works but still leaves a small gap. I have also seen some say the 510 modders connection from avid vapors works, however others say they are too short. I am expecting a tracking number from Provape anytime now and would like to have something figured out when it does arrive.

Yes I use a ego tank atty on my provari. I use 2 510 modders adapters from avid vaper and remove the washer from the one I attache to the Provari.

510 modders connector - Avid Vaper
