Just wondering... I received my provari a few days ago along with some of the new provari power 2500 batteries.
Now, it came with an extra spring and some spacer rings for the battery end. However, even without the spacer the end cap seems to close just fine using the pp 2500 batts? So is the spacr ring really needed?
(note: I did not replace the spring)

Well, you can go "bareback" if you want too, but there's gonna be a slight gap tween the end cap and the tube body. Just makes for a "cleaner" looking mod in my opinion. Depending on the "age" of your extended end cap, you may or may not need to install the improved spring. After a certain run number they all have the improved spring. JMHO

Well thats what he is saying. The cap closes fine with no gap. I have seen someone else say this in a video on youtube as well.

The only thing I would worry about is because the battery is in fact slightly longer, so tightening the cap down all the way could compress the spring beyond what it is meant to, and cause it to fail prematurely, that is, over time, the spring will flatten out.

0.076" "Tall" (Overall length)

Minimum ID (Inner Diameter) would be to the outside of the threads:

Minimum ID: 0.805" Thats to the outside of the threads..

And finally, a little drawing, with my ring..

Hope this helps!
