For the electronics cost does that also go to research, design and development?

That is a Hard Question to Answer for all things.

In some instances, Research, Electronics Design and Implementation can be a HUGE Cost and Time Expenditure.

In the case of an Electronic Cigarette though, chances are you just draw up a set of Design/Dimensional Specifications and send them out for Bid. I'm not an Electrical Engineer but something Like a Provari which Basically just provides a Voltage Output and a few display functions isn't going to be a Huge Challenge to a Chip Company.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Very Little Research or Hard Core design would be needed for the Electronics that go into an e-Cigarette like the Provari. More of an "Off the Shelf" type item. All the Research/Design was long ago Amortized into earlier Units.

Now making something like a Main Board to control a Hybrid Car is going to be a Different story.

There may be a shred of truth in this rant, but only the barest shred. I don't really feel elitist, there are certainly fancier and more expensive mods out there if you really wanted to be elitist. This is just one of the better/best? mass produced devices. Is the greatest invention of the century? No, its just a solid apv, and arguably maybe not for everyone. I prefer to look at it differently. What I seem to have acquired is a hobby, it's fun and I enjoy it, yes I waste some money on it, like any hobby. I did have to give up one thing though......my odds of dying of cancer. So it's a hobby with some seriously positive side effects for my health, the fact that I really enjoy it is a massive perk! Unless you are spending your kids college fund, or not paying the mortgage to buy zen-something in the classifieds, I say no harm no foul. Enjoy your vaping at whatever level you can support and to whatever extent that you find enjoyment in it ;)

What's the real point of this besides elitism? I'm sure it's very nice but unless you're DIYing in with the most awesome atty/tank in the world does it really matter?

One thing I have learned about the EC/ECF is it's a giant money pit of never really being happy cause there's always some new crap to buy. Get this then you'll need to get the best atty then mod it then DIY your best flavors, then oops! some new crap came out which is now better. Remember when you just went to the store, lit up a smoke and relaxed? EC is a never ending escalation of money spent on diminishing returns... And let's be honest it's a fanboy product..."But, Ralikar, man, you just have no clue how awesome my vape is at 3.675 volts, man, it's soo creamy, bro...".

Is it "elitism" to own a BMW verses a Honda? Or a Honda verses Hyundai? A New Bicycle verses an Old Rusty Wal-Mart Special?

They all get you from point A to B.

And can you Really tell me that there isn't something that you Own that cost more than it is Probably worth but that Brings you Enjoyment?

I think it CAN be that way for some. Some people turn it into a hobby. I have a Provari and 2 rebuildable atomizers(1 for backup of course), and I'm learning DIY now. I'm done buying. Couldn't care less about newer crap, because I have a setup that works perfectly. My Provari is about a year and a half old, and works perfect as the day I bought it.

I am not really a poetry person. Why? What's the connection?

Cummings’s name is often styled “e.e. cummings” in the mistaken belief that the poet legally changed his name to lowercase letters only. Cummings used capital letters only irregularly in his verse and did not object when publishers began lowercasing his name, but he himself capitalized his name in his signature and in the title pages of original editions of his books.

If a person conforms to a Standard Grammatical style then there should Only have One Capital letter in a Sentence, the First Word.

But How then does a person put Emphasis or Inflection into a Written Words?

Isn't that what italics and bold fonts on a forum, are for? I just mistook you for one of my Japanese students wHo WRiTe LiKe THiS BeCauSe THeY THiNK iN KaTaGaNa....

Sure, Bold and Italics work. But there are also a PITA to use on a Regular basis.

Nothing Wrong with writting like this... "wHo WRiTe LiKe THiS BeCauSe THeY THiNK iN KaTaGaNa" ... if you Want to.

But to Me, it Doesn't place any Emphasis on any One Particular word.

It amazes me how many people talk about the price of specific things in the vaping world. So what, smoking was inexpensive? Compare the provari to a cpl cartons of gross cigarettes. It's not very hard to justify paying a certain amount for something that keeps you away from smoking. At least IMO.

Sure, the start-up cost is more, but a persons gotta look at the bigger picture. Simple logic.

Now, I have 3 provari's and love them. I also have 2 lava tubes and like them, too.

To answer the question of whether it's worth it or not.... Yes it is.

Why buy a grand am, if you can have the Mercedes?

I don't know what a grand am is, but I know that I don't like Mercedes. Big, heavy, petrol guzzling, expensive maintenance, showy, flashy, expensive insurance, theft risk, certain image of balding pot bellied men looking for their lost youth (or a lost youth)... Etc. although I must admit the very new small ones are kind of nice lol. But I still would never drive one.

Ever read the Constitution? It's got more capital letters than just about any document I have read. It's Literally Full of them.
