Except my posts about ProVape are very on topic with the OP. But since they aren't in favor of the brand, they are wrong.

Nooo the problem is you just won't stop.

No one here denies not everyone thinks the provari is worth the money, the original post stated provape is going down. We stated we don't think so. Your opinion is valid, your constant rehashing and badgering isn't lol

Run a poll on what most people are buying today and let's see where the ProVari sits compared to other devices in the price range. Everywhere I look, I'm seeing SX Mini's. Most websites and shops can't even keep them in stock.

The Provari is definitely not the next big mod. Maybe we'll see a surge in popularity with the P4, maybe not. For now they seem content to sell older mods and the P3 at discounted (for ProVape anyhow) prices.

It still amazes me that a mod for a measly cpl hundred bucks, is such a big deal to some. I'm starting to think that the people who talk about stuff being 'too much money',are the same people who hardly smoked before taking up vaping.

A person spends tens of thousands of bucks on smokes, yet, a mod for 200 is crazy in their mind. Strange.

well, those people are looking it as a single purchase, not money spent over a period of time. When looking at that, there are people on both sides of the spectrum, over here its about 4-5 bucks a pack of cigs, somewhere else its like 12 bucks a pack of cigarettes. taking into context, that 12 bucks for a pack of cigarettes looks overpriced because its just cigarettes, they should only cost 4-5 bucks. On the vaping side, some people look at the provari as just a 10-15 watt mod for 100-200$, then theres another 20watt mod for 40-80$, some people will look at the provari as overpriced.

What some people dont take into account when reading peoples 'opinions' on things, is the context of the person sharing that opinion. It may be worth 12 bucks for a pack of cigarettes to somebody given whatever reason, and it may not be for another, just like it may be worth it to a person to purchase a provari, and another person to see it as overpriced.

These 29 roses cost more than my recent ProVari purchase. They and my ProVari were worth every penny. Priceless, both of them...

I remember tracking the mini when they first announced it, yet I have absolutely zero recollection of a mini without teardrops.

Which mean nothing since I can't recall where I placed my car keys down this morning either. But call me surprised, in either case. Good stuff - thanks!

I don't recall it either. A prototype maybe? justinred told JJOOHHNN that the one in his picture was a sawed-off full size, but what about the end cap? Sawed-off, then threaded? I am curious about this.

I have expensive mods. But their prices are relevant with the latest tech. To me, the current price of the latest ProVari would be like basic eGo starter kits still selling for $50 to $100.

I actually backed away from the thread until I just read sarcasm towards people who don't find the value. Interesting how only the unpopular side of the argument ITT is supposed to drop it.

Perhaps then you should shoot an email to ProVape and explain your pricing strategy to them...

Cause I sure would like to buy 8 or 12 more at your prices!!!

Good Luck With That, Jim

I'll repeat what I said earlier. I like my SX Mini. I prefer my Provaris. Neither is my absolute favorite device, but both are very highly revered (by me).

I like good mods (and I cannot lie...).

"Things" just cost what they cost, if you do not like the cost buy another "thing". There are a lot of "things" out there, enough to make every one in almost every budget range happy. There are also tons of "things" with different options, enough to make any cessation candidate or hobbyist happy. Provari may not be the thing for me anymore but it was a damn fine device and worth every penny that I paid for them when I bought them. I more than got my monies worth out of them. Nice end to it all is that I got some of my money back when I sold them.

That's just the end to you. Now someone else gets to enjoy them at discount :thumb:

i wonder what their profit margin is on their devices compared to other companies.
We will never know but I'm sure it's quite a bit considering they are using in house chips unlike other companies who buy from Evolv, YiHi, etc.

Pretty low, I would imagine, considering they pay their employees good wages, their stringent QC, high quality materials, fit and finishing...

My eight Provaris made it safely home to Toronto ... three still brand new in the box ... three bubble wrapped, and 2 in my pocket.
Plus I brought 6 authentic Kayfuns and 6 rolls of Kanthal.

These Provaris are cheaper than cartons of smokes.

You think ProVapes profit margins are better than Yihis?

$200.00 for a P3 (current price). $200.00 for an M Class.
