  • Re: Looking like a dildo. Let's be honest. We're all a little jaded having been involved in this subculture for any amount of time. Anyone not familiar with this world will think ANY PV looks phallic. Colors are fine.
  • Addressing the logo rubbing off is awesome.
  • Dislike horizontal grooves. Regular ProVari 2.5 would look much better without horizontal lines interrupting circular pattern. Too abrupt.
  • I feel like adding horizontal grooves to Mini says "Hey, look! We changed the Minis slightly while also tying it into the design of the standard ProVari!" More thought could have been put into Mini design even though it's merely a cosmetic change... which leads me to...
  • Did you really use a comic-sans-like font for the word "Mini" on the ProVari Mini? It looks rather juvenile and unsophisticated. Not a fan.
The new palette is modern and appealing to the demographic you may be shooting for. I work in marketing for Wells Fargo which is as conservative as it gets, and we've adopted a similar palette. Bravo.

Consider doing a focus group with ECF members ;)

I have a white provari mini and I'm quite disappointed with the fact that even after taking great care it still some how ends up getting scratches and the colour coming off. The worst is when you accidentally touch it and you have eliquid on your fingers which makes marks on the provari. I'm very disappointed after paying so much for an expensive mod. It's only a few months old but looks as if its few years old instead :( come on Provape, please. I hope the new one won't be like the current one

The design doesn't look horrible on the mini, it actually looks ok however the full - size lets say leaves something to be desired. However I still have a sour taste in my mouth with provape. I bought 5 provaris, ext caps & batteries & a charger within a couple months & on the last order asked for a sample of there premium juice line since it was new I though I'd at least like to try it. However that request was completely ignored. Now honestly they really don't owe me anything. They have a decent produce although it is pricy, they ship quickly but to me it didn't set well that I've bought 20.00 egos & had sample bottles tossed in yet withen let's say 4 months I had dropped at least a cool grand & not so much as a 10ml bottle could be tossed in for me to try. I upgraded LEDs to the more expensive colors on every provari also.

Needless to say I'd be really hard pressed to make another purchase st this point only because of that.

You're not buying from them because they didn't give you free ....?

Anyone have a idea when the new models will be available for purchase & curious if the will be the same price as the current model.

I don't think you "take great care" of your provari. I use mine all day long every day. I use it in my office, in my garage working on my f4i stunt bike, in my workshop and every time I go out. I recently dropped it in the workshop onto a concrete floor and only got 2 small scratches (one at each end) and bent the carto in my jtank. I knock it over all the time when reaching for it and I have got ejuice on it multiple time with no issues. No fading.

I don't baby my black provari standard and it is almost in perfect condition. The provari is designed to be like a tank. It's a reliable and proven PV that you can drop and know it will work exactly like it did when it was new. In the case that something happens to go wrong lrovape will help you fix it. That is why people buy them.

Excuse my spelling. I'm typing on a broken touch screen in a bumpy car.

After dropping closer to 1200.00 in 4 months a 5 or 10 ml sample juice isn't really a lot to ask for I don't think? It's not like I'm a 1 time customer. It just put a sour taste in my mouth is all I'm saying.

Maybe this is their "New Coke." ;)

The fans demand the old style back, and they drive up demand for it.

I promise that crossed my mind in regards to the New Coke analogy. I almost hope they were being that sophisticated in their marketing. Holy smokes that new design is ugly. I hate what they've done to the Mini. If they don't come out with a new plan and address the options the variable wattage mods are offering, they're going to be left behind.

I've read somewhere that the colored V2 finishes aren't as durable as the black finish. Any truth to that? Are the blue, pink, and purple painted differently somehow? I'd like to get a blue, but I hear they scratch up easily.

That would explain why my black provari hasn't had any of these issues.

I ordered the blue the same day that the colors were introduced (August 2012?). I have dropped mine a few times onto the asphault in the parking lot while getting out of my car (I have a bad habit of resting the Provari on my lap and forgetting that it is there.) Also dropped it a few times onto the concrete sidewalk while fumbling with door keys and the Provari in the same hand. Very minor scratches (more like scuff marks) that you have to intentionally look for to find. My white Silver Bullet and black BB are powder coated in a glossy paint, and they both have deeper scratches that are more noticable.

There are options available if you take your Provari out of the house where it has more chances for surface damage. Serenity Gear SerenityGear Leather makes very attractive leather sleeves custom cut for appropriate length and cut-out holes for the LED screen and power button. They also make belt holsters and lanyards.

You can also make an inexpensive rubber sleeve ($9) like this one. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provari/326118-diy-inexpensive-rubber-provari-protective-grip.html
