In case anyone was wondering - this would raise the voltage you can use on a 1.5 dual coil atty/carto from 3.8 or 3.9v to around 5.2 or 5.3 volts. That's over 18 watts of power :O

Some more details on the limits:
The new output limit (when you will get an E2) is 3.5 amps from 2.9 v to 4.2v. Above 4.2v the output limit is set to 14.5 watts. So above 4.2v each step has a little bit different current limit based on a power calculation. You will find that you can go much higher voltage with LR, but you won't be able to crank it all the way up to 6 volts with a LR..basically cooking the atty :)

This is great news! I've liked the provari in theory since I saw it, but I've scratched it off my short list for its lack of power. Now that its limits are near the same as most stacked battery vv, its back on the list. I can't afford it right now but congrats provape, you just got yourself a new customer

Use my ProVari everyday now, and trust me, I have used a bunch of mods in my 2 years. When I first got it right after original release, after the newness wore off, didn't use it all that much, but it was always a go to. Then I started dabbling more and more into geni type setups, and started using it all the time... Then I got a Line and well, my ProVari w/ Line is one of my favorite setups. The only thing that ever bothered me was the current limit on it... now you do this... perhaps its time for me to get a new color and a backup :) Nice to see this ProVape!

I just want to know first how many volts do you use on average with the line. Second, where can I find a line

I bought a black gloss a couple of weeks ago before Provape announced the new satin finish and now the higher amp output.
Am I wishing I had waited a little while? hell no, this thing is awesome and I have only hit the 2.5 limit twice, one was trying to push a LR atty reading 1.4 ohms too far and the other was using a dying atty that was quickly losing resistance. In the second instance, the provari was doing exactly what it is supposed to do, shutting down before the current drain got out of hand.

I couldn't be happier :)

Sorry, Its always hard to do changes or updates as there are going to be those who are on the tail end when the changes happen.

The new amperage limit is to support the use of low resistance attys and cartos.

As for those asking about the Satin Black, all of those will have the V2 because we have not started shipping yet. This coming week the satin black will start shipping, so we are almost there.

The blue led option will be available on all models coming in March. Estimates are about Mid March, maybe sooner. We will keep you posted on when those are ready. If you sign up for our facebook feed we will keep you posted as soon as those are available.

I just ordered a third ProVari in Silver Satin and as I understand it they are in stock as V2. Correct?

No truer words spoken. Save your cash for flavor testing juice. If you buy a Provari that's all you'll need to spend your money on unless like most of us we need a second one for back up although I know of no Provari that required a back up .

oh poo! I just bought mine and would have loved this option! At least I have my chance in the valentines day contest lol. Anyone else who reads this, the provari is amazing amazing amazing! Dont waste money on several other devices because you will spend hundreds only to realize this is the best on the market.

I've had mine for over a year now and hands down the best pv out there IMO. I have a GGTS and a Super-T Precise Plus (both of which I won on ECF), while each of these are fine pv's, I always seem to have my Provari in my hand. The convenience and ability to change the voltage at a push of a button, and check the battery and ohms of an atty makes this pv second to none. Also, I won't stack batteries, so I'm left with 3.7 vaping with the GGTS and Precise Plus.

cheers,
