all in all i just want mine in hand, I wouldn't be upset if there was a color option after i got mine, i like stainless anyway. Now an accessory of some sort, THAT piqued my interest. I can always order that after the fact so once again, not that worried.

I agree. I wouldn't wait any extra time for a color/finish anyway and anything else can be ordered after the fact.

Can anyone describe the finish that is on the provari now. Is it shiny, dull, smooth, rough, paint, powder coat. Now that I know it's just a color, I'm gonna order one but would like to know what to expect. Thanks in advance! Jeff

Thanks. I saw that lol. I was just wondering if it was a slick finish or more of a chalkboard feel. I have the riva se now and its a very silver, almost brushed aluminum look and feel. No paint or powder coat, parts are chrome and they are a grey color already. I just don't want my $200 mod turning into an ugly grey, oxidized metal look that's all. I guess I will find out in a month when mine shows up.

It's smooth. I havnt found a way to even get a scratch on mine. I use it for 10 hours per day. The finish will last.

Wouldn't even be interested in another color.

This reminds me of someone buying a car just because it's a pretty shade of blue. Forget the horsepower or what the model is...as long as it comes in blue. Come on people! If you're buying a kick ... piece of equipment like the ProVari, does it matter what color it is?

I want to order the provape 2.1 with the titanium finish. Is there much wait on that model?

Don't feel dumb. Pictures can't really describe the way something feels. This will be my first mod, and only second pv, so I really don't have a grasp on how well built or the feel of mods are. I just like to analyze every little thing about a product before I buy something. As I have said in the past, it annoys me at times lol. But in all seriousness thank you everyone for your help.

I have to admit, the kid inside me waiting for Santa to come is getting me anxious, but I do have an extenuating circumstance as I am moving this weekend (or maybe next Monday or Tuesday) and wondering if I need to change the shipping address. I placed my order on 1-31-11.

Really? Mine doesn't have a dent, ding or scratch on it and I've been very abusive to my baby. Hell, I accidentally launched her across the room on to a concrete floor and couldn't find any evidence of having done so.
