Just get them shipped with your Provari- If Dave dosen't have them as we get close to the release date, we'll do a mini coop or two from lighthound.

Edit: And yes, of course they'll fit the Pila charger- you may need a spacer for the 18500..

We have good stock on batteries at the moment :)

How is the ProVari reset if this were to happen?

When the user presses the button the ProVari will see the battery voltage drop. It will think it is a battery that has no more energy and it will flash its button light indicating the user needs a newly charged battery. Once the button is released and the battery voltage goes back up the cycle repeats itself. When you go through this scenario you can see how this would look like a failed Provari when in reality it is just a battery with a high internal resistance. The bottom line is if you want it to put out some serious power you need to have a battery that can supply some serious power.

Very cool- and when you see those flashing lights, get thee to a charger to avoid damaging your battery ...

How will it behave when shorted or current overload is detected?

?

The device will shut off before any damage occurs to the battery. When the battery is low the device will prevent under discharge.

I'll pickup your other question on a new post :)

The feature set of the ProVari just got better!

The ProVari will now alert you if there is a problem by displaying an error code on the digital display. You will always know what's going on. If an error occurs the display will show the error code for a short period of time (4-5 second).

The following codes exist:

E1 (Element Short) This happens when you have a short with your atomizer or cartomizer. The way to fix is to remove and replace the atomizer/cartomizer.

E2 (Over Current) – This happens when the voltage is too high and the atomizer resistance is too low or any combination where the amperage exceeds the limit. The fix is to lower the voltage setting until the error goes away.

E3 (Excessive Heat) - This happens if the device detects excessive heat. To fix let the device cool off for 4-5 minutes before using again - This is a very rare event and you will probably never see it.

yeah I am worried about stock too, i really can not wait for this PV, ohh and I havent seen it posted anywhere but how about a function like push button 3 times and it gives you battery power remaining, or even cooler "Puffs remaining" lol, why not it does everything else but wash the dishes.

Were ok on stock for the Pre-orders at this time. They are going fast though.

This is mainly because were running out of memory on the micro to implement more features. We have a lot code in there for the current feature set, taking up all the space. Its almost full. We have a few more goodies that were looking into before launch :)
