Good morning all, first I have to report on my 18490 battery. I am also very happy with this configuration. I love the size of the Provari with this battery and it is more stable when you stand it up because of it's shorter length. Really nice, been vaping on it since yestrday morning so battery life is good as well.

Scott,
Somewhere on this thread is a list of all error codes. I know it only lists 3 error codes in the manual. Does anyone recall what error code E4 means to help Scott out?

E1 - Element Short - Lower the Voltage or replace the atomizer

E2 - Current Limit Exceeded - Lower the Voltage

E3 - Temperature Limit Exceeded - Let the device cool off

E4 - Input Voltage to DC/DC converter error - Contact ProVape

E5 - Converter has a problem - Contact ProVape if you get this error

E6 - Microprocessor has a problem - Contact ProVape if you get this error

E7 - Voltage output when there should be none - note this can be caused by a converter fault OR by an open atomizer. Only contact ProVape if you know the atomizer is good and the problem persists.

E8 - Converter has detected a fault - Contact ProVape if you get this error

Hi mate,

Yeah I read the error code list and E4 means it's a DC/DC converter issue........doesn't sound promising :(

OMG, not "Binghampton" it's "Binghamton" ;-)
.......... I don't miss much there except for the Spiedies!!
OMG... YUMMY!

My new goal... a Spiedie flavored vape!
:offtopic:
OMG! Let the cravings begin!!
I read that yesterday & had a twinge.....today, even stronger!

Best kept secret of upstate NY.
My dad grew up in Binghamton/Endicott area & thankfully I still have family in the area that will send me Spiedie sauce when I'm too lazy to make my own LOL

My only dilemma - what's the best choice/cut/type of meat to use?

Very traditional Spiedies use lamb but it isn't as popular these days. Now it is primarily pork and chicken. I love venison but harder to come by.

Loupo's delivers anywhere in the country. It isn't cheap but worth it. My family is still on the South Side so I always have a supply!

BTW - as good as they taste, would you really want to vape it??

Loupo's! YES! They make a lemon-garlic marinade that is the BOMB on chicken, especially if you let it sit for a few days.
And you are correct; not cheap on their shipping, but soo well worth it!

I knew about the lamb & once thought about cutting up a leg once, but my father in law over ruled me LOL Never thought about trying it out on venison! That actually makes sense....
I've asked mom what kind of beef she uses - her answer was always "what ever was on sale that week". That doesn't work for me, since I have a freezer full of different cuts & don't want to waste money trying to find a good cut.

As for vaping it - I learned the hard way with bacon, I'm a vegatarian vaper; no more meat/dairy or fish products! LOL

To go back on subject: ;) hee hee hee
Been using the ProVari since it arrived on Monday & have been having soo much fun with it! Prior to it's arrival, my trusty eGo w/atty was my main go to vape & a 5V Stompbox with carto for those times I needed an extra strong hit. I will still carry the eGo in my purse for more stealthy vapes, but the Stompbox has been cleaned up & put into storage.

- Cartos have always seemed too airy for me compared to attys, but being able to adjust the Vari, I've been able to enjoy cartos more & more.
- I've been saving attys that I felt were just slowly dying for about 6 months now. Maybe I should have thrown them away, but with all the tech advancements in vaping, I thought maybe something would come along to resurrect them.
Now, I've been able to pop them on here, check the Ohms and adjust the volts to where it feels comfortable!!
- The ability to adjust the volts has changed the taste of some juices; most for the better ;) LOL All these juices that have been in the box as just 'so so' tasting are finally going to be used up & my dripping skills will finally be perfected!

I'm actually feeling sorry for some of my vendors right now. I think I have enough juice/cartos & now attys that I won't be making any accessory purchased for the next couple of months while I finally use up what I have.

I'm actually one of the few carto fans out there. I've just never like attys or dripping for that matter. eGo cones tighten the draw but I've stopped using them in favor of my Phidias or other 18650 mods while I wait for my PV to arrive.

On the box mods, I cut a carto end-cap ("condom") in half and slip it over the bottom of the carto as close to the connection as possible and that tightens it right up. I'm hoping that with the PV I won't need the added sleeve any more but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

PS - I have found that IkenVape's 801 fusions are nice and tight, even with the adapter, but they've been out of stock for a while. I think those will rock the house on the PV.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of them took a day or two off, considering the date and how hard they all worked the last few weeks. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear but they usually respond within a few hours. Something could have knocked out power or e-net also....just a thought. The history for customer service is pretty darn good so I would tend to give them the benefit of the doubt (not saying you didn't).
Anyway I hope the issue is resolved soon because the Provari really is an amazing PV. Once you get the chance to enjoy it fully operational you will be very pleased, I assure you. :)

Happy Vaping-Happy New Year!

Well, hopes have been dashed........I'm back to E4 error messages :(

This is so frustrating! And I wish someone from Provape would reply to this thread or my emails!
