These guys might have a better idea on the ideal resistance to get the MAP ce2 but I have really liked 3.2ohm on my Infinity and will probably do the same on my Provari.

That's the best one for VV...it's actually 3.0ohm, but Bruce lists it as a 3.2ohm...don't know why.

Get some acrylic tubing, plastic (or delrin) plugs and a drill. Total cost to DIY = about $.85/ea.

I have made a few of the older ones with the 3ml syringe for the tube. Works good with the PTB.
The e2's come 2.8-3.0 or 3.0-3.2. And there is lower res also.
But you guys probably already know this.

You want the highest when you have the VV though...that way you can crank up the volts on it.
You can't use the clearos as replacement elements in the map...they are a cut down steel one.
It's easy to do cut your own...just need a tubing cutter.

I realize the map is a e2 with a bigger tank. I would like to make my own, but there would be a little more modification involved than just cutting the steel tube and installing the syringe,
Like finding a bigger tank and getting it to fit and not leak of course. I have plenty of the steel tube e2's. At least 50.
I wonder if there is a video out there for this

It sounds intimidating but it is actually pretty easy. I can make at least 20 per hour but I stopped long ago when I realized that no matter what, they just don't taste right to me. I now have a bunch of other mods and two AFS v3's. I may be off-loading them soon though b/c while they look nice and are functional, they are expensive and HUGE.
