I recently heard about the upgrade that Provari offers for the V 1 Provari to the V 2. I sent it off and in about week it was back for 20$ they upgraded it to the v2. I had stopped using my Provari as I like to use a bit lower OHM;s and it alway gave me errors because it was to low and the unit would not fire. I build my own attys as I use a kayfun and it would drive me nuts when I would end up with just a bit to low of OHMs I would shoot for 1.5 1.4 and many times it fall just a bit low. I pretty much nuked the provari as I was tired of having to rebuild because it would .2 ohms too low for the unit. When I got it back its firing just fine at 1.2 OHM and lets me turn the volts up to about 4.3 no problem. So no more scraped builds from just falling a bit shy of my mark.

The whole process was super fast and cheap IMHO as I bought my Provari 3 years ago, so 20 bucks to get this upgraded was the best 20 bucks I spent in a long time. Anyone that has a old provari that you tossed in the drawer and forgot about it should get it out and send it in for this upgrade. I really love it and having something that I paid so much for I think it was like almost 200 Bucks 3 years ago is a shame. Now with the V 2 upgrade it will get lots of use instead of collecting dust.

I highly recommend this upgrade

Um...I don't think there's any difference between a 2 and 2.5, except they changed the tube aesthetically...

This is the correct ProVari..

The upgrade is for the V1 only..

A V2 & V2.5 have the same chip/board -- there is no upgrade for that..

The V2.5 just has a different tube (crop circles, logo)...

Oh I forgot to say that they even shipped it back all for the 20$ so I only had to pay shipping to send the unit to them
I got the exact same treatment just a few weeks ago, sent an inquiry through the ticket system, got the repair RGA and sent a V1 in with a 20$ money order. What I got back was a brand spanking new board, and the top cap with the channels, I think my unit must have been a very early one. I was quite frankly blown away by this incredible service. What an awesome company to deal with

Ya I was amazed that even after 3 years the still had my invoice and could look it up. Right now I think my Provari was a my best investment. Where else can you get anything 3 years old upgraded. I was not real happy with the version 1 Provari now that I am into rebuildables. It was fine back 3 years ago when everyone was using cartos so it was good in its day but really useless with the current rebuildables out. this upgrade gave it a whole new life. I still can't believe the difference in the version 2 Provari. from a dust collector to my favorite PVD. I know this sounds crazy but I think it make my vape even taste better than on my mechanical Akuma copper if you can believe that. but it's true
