I would have put this on the Provari thread but I guess I don't have enough posts yet to have that privledge, so I'm posting my question here. I got a chrome finished provari about 10 days ago and am loving it. There was a link on the provari thread about chome finished provari's with minor blemishes being offered for $40 off (thanks to whomever posted that link). That was enough to pursuade me to make the investment and I have no regrets. Also, I can't find a single blemish on mine!
Anyway, I'm using mine with the Vivi Nova 2.5 tank. I had a little bit of a learning curve, but I ended up getting a 510 to 510 adapter to improve the airflow to the vivi nova and trimmed the wicks a bit which seemed to improve the flow of e-juice to the atty. Again...this configuration has left me in vaping heaven!
My question , however, is that that I have noticed that after I release the power button on the provari I get about another second and a half of hiss out of the vivi nova's atty. I switched atty's and still get that same affect. It's not a big deal, but it seems like there might be a delay in the provari turning the power off once the button is released (the led light on the power button does go out right away) -- I don't know.
Anyway, I was wonder if anyone else has experienced this. It may have been doing that since I got it and I just happened to notice. It might be normal. I just thought I would ask. If this is not a normal occurrance, I was also wondering if I should be concerned about it, send the provari back to provapes, or just live with it. It's really not bothering me -- it still vapes great, the ohms of the atty measure properly, and I don't get any error codes. But I was curious if it's a sign that something might be wrong or going wrong with the provari. Thanx for any feedback you might have!
