You can order the tank that Provape sells. I have two and love them or you can pay a lot more and get the beautiful Phiniac. I don't own one but my best friend does. It's a cool and great quality tank but too much money for me on a tank. If you get the smoke tech one try and find cartos with 3 prepunched holes if you can because the one hole ones don't seem to feed very well for me and I use thin juice.

My ProV mini shipped today - bought one specifically for rebuildable atomizers - will be nice to see the resistance that you make. If you are feeling adventurous, buy a rebuildable tank or atty - will save you from paying $$ for cartos or attys in the long run. I had two v1s that I sold months ago but couldn't resist the mini for an out and about mod.

You will like your Provari. It's a well built VV PV that will give you many years of service. If it breaks, Provari will fix it under warranty or for a small fee after the warranty runs out. They will up grade it cheaply when a new version comes out. You really can't go wrong with the Provari. Yes, it's expensive but it's built like a tank and produces the most predictable and satisfying vape I've found. From fresh battery to charge time the vape is the same.

You can spend less money on a VV tube mod, but most will require a new purchase if something goes wrong.

After much thought between ego twist and other various vv e cig such as lava tube. And getting smallest size e cig i could get, with lots of vap. I just came down to size=more vap, or so i found. I gave up on the small size, and tired of this vs that, and just got the normal provari v2. I am hoping price aside i made the right desicion. It was currently on sale $159. Though that may be a normal thing. What are anyone's thoughts? I am extremely eager to get this thing. Any provari users that have tips are appreciated.

Welcome to the ProVari family. I'm a fellow ProVari v2 owner and I have to say it's a stellar performance. What you bought is a great vaping device and you will enjoy endless hours not seconds hours of pure vaping pleasure. Make sure you get some good cartos/attys for it and a decent tank so you wont have to keep filling your cartos that much. So what juices did you get to break in your new ProVari?

As for Tank setup I would recommend a decent tank. I personally use a map tank, I will be tryign to get the new lava tanks which go on sale next week that is a huge treat and buy. its offered only on a forum. you can check out clouds of vapor for there map tanks but I must warn you the customer service is not stellar. being this is your first I would stay away from tanks till you spend some good time with your provari tooting out of cartomizers and atomizer. Then look into tanks. That's my advice. hope that helps... VAPE ON!!!

Good choice, I recommend for example KM carto tank.

Now you can start saving money for Darwin, or Svoemesto. Anyway, you are already almost on top.
I have been leaning toward getting a provari but also like the looks of the zenesis, ggs and also seen some wild-looking russian models. Basically, i like the shiny stainless steel types.
Only problem is is that i am new and need something easy as I am not one to fiddle around. Never tried an atty, been vaping using little clearomizers.
I probably will end up with the provari and hopefully learn enough that I can one day get the zenesis or other mods that require more experience.

Right, so i hope some of you are still out there to check this thread. I just received my provari, it looks amazing. Batteries are charged. I don't have a tank yet, looking into one. This is the first time i have used cartomizers i fill myself. I have small little 5 mil drip bottles of pre made from provape. I read to drip 18 to 20 drops around the inner sides, and let it have time to soak in while doing it, so it doesn't get down the center. Is this right? I also have a drip tip for the carto, how do you add it while using that? I read you take it off to drip more, i also read you can just drip it in. I don't want to mess this up, so am awaiting wisdom. Also can someone tell me what this syringe stuff is about?

Hi Agonize, congrats on the new ProVari, I am sure you will love it. 18 to 20 drops is a rough guestimate since drop size can vary according to bottle. Dripping around the sides waiting for it to soak in is right. If you get it in the center tube, just blow the excess gently into a paper towel and wipe off the threads. I can usually get between 20 - 25 larger drops in a regular Boge carto. As for the syringe, that's probably the easiest method to fill a carto. Just suck the right amount of juice into the syringe, push the needle into the filler close the the sides of the carto all the way down to the bottom (be sure to avoid hitting the coils or the center tube, if you puncture the tube by mistake you could have a mess on your hands). Push a little of the juice into the filler, pull the syringe up a little, push a little more juice out, keep repeating in various places in the carto until there is no more juice in the syringe. Wait a couple of minute to be sure you achieved even distribution and vape away.

Cheers!

K, thanks for that. I am going to start a new thread on this. I'll name it "povari help", i don't seem to be getting much vapor out of it. actually this is back on top of the thread so... My issue is i did 20 drops, with plenty of fill time and there is little vapor, and little taste. any ideas, my setting is on 5.0 right now.

Any DCT tank works fine. They are cheap. They normally come with a dual coil 1.5 ohm cartomizer but I take it out and use a 3.0 ohm single coil @ around 5V. The cartomizers need to be 45mm in length (not counting the battery threads). You can buy them prepunched with the flange (cost more) or you can buy them without the holes and flange and just punch them yourself using a saddle valve.

I have a Provari mini and I use a DCT tank with a single coil 3.0 ohm carto, just like you describe. You say you go to 5V. I can't go above 4.2 with any of my juices or I get burned taste even though I've topped them off to make sure the top filler isn't dry and let them sit for hours to make sure the juice has soaked in. I've replaced the carto and started over again with a new one, but I still can't go above 4.2 or yuck. Below 4.2, I'm not getting the warmth or amount of vapor I like. I never thought I would be frustrated by a Provari, but I am.

I have a Provari and I use 3.0 ohm carto tanks at 5 volts. While everyone is different, if you are tasting a burnt taste, that's a pretty good indicator that you either don't have enough juice in the carto or you've already burnt the carto out by not having enough juice and vaping on it. Once a carto gets burnt it's always going to taste burnt. When I'm filling a carto for the first time, I always use the syringe method. To me this makes the most sense, since you want to be sure to get from the battery connector end all the way up to the top of the carto. Actually. I mostly overfill intentially and blow out the excess onto a papertowel. After that it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes before you can vape using that carto.

Edited to add: While I feel your frustration, please note that it's not the Provari that's causing the problem. It's the learning curve that everyone has to go through. You could easily have the same problems and same learning curve on the eGo or any other device.
