Can you get 12:00 to stop flashing on your microwave? (was going to say VCR but if OP is younger then 25 he probably doesn't know what that is) then no, it's not complicated. You will quickly find that it's going to take some $$ to beat the performance of a spinner. If your happy with your spinner, get another one for a back up and to use while the other is charging. Get some juice samplers to try new juices, grab a couple of different vape devices. The Provari is great but as you saw, a lot more money. Even going to a cheaper battery mod (Vamo, Z max, Etc.) is going to be expensive compared to another spinner. Spinners are great little devices and if your happy with it, vape the crap out of it!

Thanks for the reply. Lol. I remember our first VCR. It was the top load model( I'm 40). It had a WIRED remote with it. Thought it was the coolest thing ever. I still catch myself saying VCR instead of DVD sometimes. I guess my question is; is the provari really that much better than a spinner to warrant that much more money? Ppl on here seem to rave about them, but whats the difference? Probly like the difference between driving a Mazda or a mazzaratti right? I'm sure I'll upgrade soon. Btw, just made my 5th post. Lol. I'm free!!!

There are a few things that Provari offers.

First they are tough, the build quality is second to none. If something does go wrong there is a one year warranty with an option to buy a second year. If something happens to the device Provape will still repair damage for a fee after the warranty. Any other device when it breaks it is pretty much garbage.

Second, the chip used to regulate power is simple to navigate and efficient in how it delivers power for both your vape and battery life. Most china mods run at 33.3 hertz where Provari runs at 800 hertz.

Third, once purchased there is optional admittance to the exclusive Provarinati group. (Jk)

Some people consider Provari lack of variable wattage to be a deal breaker. So this would be a point for you to research and think about.

Like he said. A big difference between EGO batts and big batt mods is the ability to use low resistance devices without risking damage to the mod. The higher amp load of a low res coil can damage a EGO style batt. Provaris are more expensive then similar Chinese made mods. I like the peace of mind I get from the build quality, warranty and customer service I get from Provari. Being of a similar age as myself, you know those things don't come cheap. Is a Rolex worth the price if a Timex does the same thing...tell time? I dunno, it all depends what your looking for. By no means is the EGO style batts an inferior vape. Like I said, your going to spend some money to upgrade, even if it's Vamo.
We had a Beta Max, my Dad was convinced VHS would never catch on........
Does any one remember the Laser Disk? You could actually rent movies the day they were released to theaters.

Thanks for the quick replies!! I think I'll stick with my twist for the time being. Lol. Gonna have to save some money first. What makes these provari so special? Is it really that much better than Ego?

I dont know what makes it so much better? USA quality build... You set it at 4.8 volts and thats whats deliverd to you atty under load..
You set a twist at 4.8 volts and you get approx, 4.5 volts to you atty under load... You drop a twist a few times and it stops working, drop a Provari and it still works.. The list goes on and on....

the chip inside the provari as called ACCUSET(TM) it is a self calibrating regulation that ensures what you set is exactly what you get from beginning to end.
the board is military class.
provape will 100% stand behind it and always be there for you.
it is built like a tank, many have fallen into rivers, ponds, pools, cups of coffee, dish water, the toilet, been run over and bounced off roofs of cars, one trucker had to backtrack close to 100 miles after it bounced of the bed of his truck, once he realized what he had done.
there is a story now in the provari subforum someone dropped it in the river and didnt find it till next day, once dry it worked perfectly.
upgrades when available are a fee not a new unit.
repairs out of warrenty are not expensive.
i own several mods and i think there is nothing wrong with them or many of the chinese mods, but you really do get what you pay for . i use several mods at home but only the provari for out and about, its the only mod i give no thought to as far as backups go.
_ are they slightly overpriced? yea a bit.
_will you have to buy another one? only if you want two of them.

get your post count up, get verified and snag a deal in the classifieds when you become able.

until then a cheap vamo is a great introduction into tube mods, or even a zmax. many of the china mods are fine and do the job. im not saying they will, but IF they break its game over.

a quick visit to the mod subforums is all anyone really needs for help understanding, in all the forums, my cap broke, my threads stripped, my buttons not working etc etc etc. in the provari forum we are talking about modwraps, what tanks you use., what music do you listen to. 1 in 200 posts maybe is my provari didnt work, 'so what did you do?" i called provape and they fixed it.

Hey y'all, a newbie here with a ? about Provari. How much are they and are they really that much better than an Ego twist? Are they complicated to use or easy like my Ego? What would the total cost be to get a good setup? Thanks for the answers. I love this site.

I just started vaping about 3 weeks ago and I too started with a couple ego twist batteries. Ego was awesome but I kind of got bit by the vaping bug and started to look into rebuildable atomizers right away. Picked up an astro mod and a Igo-w within the firs two weeks and started dripping. I loved it but found it to be difficult to do on the go. I wanted something reliable with long battery life and vv so I broke down and bought a provari. The reason I went with provari is because it seemed the most solid/durable of all the LCD vv mods. Add to that, I found an murdered out one and Im loving it in between using a mech mod w/a dripper or my kayfun (best atomizer ever in my opinion).

Check out my setup. If you do buy a provari, and all youve used is an ego, you wont be disappointed.

Alright, y'all convinced me. I'm getting one as soon as possible. How do I get verified so I can buy from the classified? That all black one looks sweet!! I'll let u know when I get it. Thanks to all for the responses and advice. This site really is great.
you need 15 posts and to fill out the verified application, I think the link for it is in the forum rules sticky.

I had a laser disc player. Actually two. One you had to load with the disc cover on,and the other you just loaded the disc which was the size of a 33 record.
