I had a laser disc player. Actually two. One you had to load with the disc cover on,and the other you just loaded the disc which was the size of a 33 record.

We always rented the Cartridge kind, I can still remember when my uncle pried one open and we all saw the laser disk for the first time, (the hologram was still a few months away, remember the eagle sticker on the cover of national geographic?) My aunt let out this horrible shriek and told my uncle to "put it back! it will cause cancer!" those were the days.

Thanks for the reply. Lol. I remember our first VCR. It was the top load model( I'm 40). It had a WIRED remote with it. Thought it was the coolest thing ever. I still catch myself saying VCR instead of DVD sometimes. I guess my question is; is the provari really that much better than a spinner to warrant that much more money? Ppl on here seem to rave about them, but whats the difference? Probly like the difference between driving a Mazda or a mazzaratti right? I'm sure I'll upgrade soon. Btw, just made my 5th post. Lol. I'm free!!!
you wont know until you try, but once you try you'll know, i have many mods, and by far provari is the best most useful pv out there.

Hi

I'm a bit curious about how long you have been vaping and what kind(s) of juice delivery systems (clearos, cartos, attys, tanks, etc.) you are using?
I've been vaping for four days now. I'm using an Ego twist. I've found my favorite flavor is a coffee, chocolate mix in the morning and grape for the rest of the day. So far. Lol. I also haven't had a cigarrete since I started. Lovin it!!

I too am using twists. I find that after the battery gets abouit half way down, I lose flavor and vapor. Turning up the volts does nothing but give me burnt taste. I've got a provari in the shopping cart waiting until I have the money because I understand that it will give the same voltage from a full battery to an empty battery. Is this true? Because it's the only reason I want one. If it's not true, I won't waste the money on it.

The twist is a good jumping off point and from there a VV is just the next logical step. I have not personally stepped up the the plate and bought a Provari.... Yet. It's next on my list. I do have a Lavatube 1.5t and I enjoy it plus the Lavatube V2 is out now and I know quite a few people who like theirs. Not saying that's the route for you but if you're looking for a reasonably priced VV then it's not a bad place to start.

it is dead on true, you will be vaping along then suddenly it stops working because its time to recharge the battery, you will see no difference or drop off.
Just to add to this, the Provari's fire button will begin to flash when the battery level is low enough in voltage to require replacement with a fresh one.

Additional benefits of a Provari over an eGo Spinner:

Ability to use replaceable batteries. It's far more convenient to carry a spare battery (inside a protected plastic case) for the Provari than carry multiiple eGo's when away from home. In addition, an eGo can only be recharged around 250 times. The rechargeable batteries have an expected lifetime of over a year.

Abiltiy to use larger and more complex juice delivery devices for longer time between juice refills, or use an RBA (which is not recommended for an eGo).

Built-in atomizer meter and voltage meter eliminates the need to carry one of these separately. Easy to spot check the ohm of the delivery device or the remaining voltage on your battery.

Due to eGo battery limitations, it will only last several months. A Provari can be expected to last years in use.

Some people consider Provari lack of variable wattage to be a deal breaker. So this would be a point for you to research and think about.

And some people don't understand Ohm's law. Variable wattage is probably easier to use, just dial in 6W and done. But you can (and should) do the same thing with a Provari - just do a little math to find the right voltage for the resistance of your coil.

That being said, I love my Provari. The build quality is top notch.

Don't use the M word, it scares people...

Personally, I don't own a Provari. I do own a Sigelei Zmax V3, Vamo V3, and an MVP. These three probably still cost less than a Provari would have. Plus, I still have some money to buy some nice RBA's. In a world of disposable objects like e-cigs, I just can't see spending that much money on one device (except for a nice hybrid, maybe). Plus, the Zmax and Vamo have variable wattage which I exclusively use on these two. I have ADD when it comes to shopping for E-cigs. I don't need a warranty for 1 year or 2 years because I'll probably be onto the next big thing by the time that comes along. There are a lot of Provari fans on this site, especially with advanced users and that works for them. Really, the LED menus on mods are not very difficult to use. I don't think you would have a difficult time figuring out how to use any VV/VW mod. They are pretty simple.

Im 40 myself and we got one of those kind of VCR when I was 12. I was telling my daughter how we use to rent a VCR and how that was a treat. She couldn't believe that people actually rented them but I told her they were a whole lot more expensive back then.

I remember we had a tv that if you shook a key ring in from of it, the jingling would change the channels.
