PTN04050CAD Laser Toner Transfer PCB

maybe TI is cracking down on the free samples , but i know some folks have had trouble before ordering . Not for sure but i think it was a issue with their web browser . Never used this company before but here is the cheapest price on the booster i could find. PTN04050CAD for Texas Instruments | Arrow Electronics Components

That is the smallest 12 watt output booster i know about. really a PCB could be designed to make the hole package smaller i designed the one in here per the OP's request.

Heres my 4050 PCB's . Its about the smallest you can get. Same size as the 4050c just makes it thicker. It holds the smd resistors(or thru hole resistor) and 16v tant caps and has all the connections on the bottom.Everything but the pot which is mounted on the case instead of the PCB. I also have a different version which has a spot for a 3A diode.

just build a carbonfiber box to house the booster as per breaktru.layed out the pc board by hand.
was going to use the iron on method as on utube.but office depot did not want to print them on inkjet paper for me !!
the lazer paper did not work and made a mess.so i used my method from 20 years ago.drilled the holes and used nailpolish
for the traces.the board dont fitt standar holes so i used some ovenbake clay rolled out flat and pressd the chip in for a templet boiled it for 20 min to harden. not the preeties board but works great...have funn

Interesting rolf. I had poor results myself with the iron method. Bought a GBC HeatSeal H220 Laminator which worked out excellent.
