Punching attys?

It's being done (better to drill/mill, though, depending on where exactly you're doing it), just not as common as cartos. There is some info around on the subject, but not much. I haven't tried to do it myself, but I have run 901's in a tank just out of curiosity since they already have a hole in them.

I've only ever used 510's so forgive the ignorance but is a 901 a 306 in a 510 body? Or is that something else?

Need to drill attys. Don't use a punch, it will dull it, they are thick steel.

Nope. "hybrid" attys are a 306 in a 510 casing, 901s are a whole 'nother animal ;-)

Yes, but it was more hassle than it was worth IMO

Who's drilling their attys for use in UFS and where are you drilling? Just thought it would be fun to mess around with the 510 attys.
