here is what HIC says about it , I agree so here it is. I use it as a mixer usually . pretty good.

Meringue: 3-4%. by itself it's like those crisp, airy, tiny Italian cookies that melt in your mouth. I'd call it a delicate flavor and an ideal sweetener for fruits. Add a little Meringue to your favorite fruit for a sugar-sprinkled taste. The other way around (a little fruit, lots of Meringue) makes a flavored Italian meringue cookie - lots of people could vape that all day long.

Anyone have Meringue (FA), what is it like?

Just like Italian meringue cookies, which are basically sugar whipped into egg whites, baked til they're dry. There's no vanilla or fruit flavor in FA Meringue. A little Meringue is a spoonful of white sugar.

In a bakery-type recipe, Meringue makes it lighter and sweeter without changing the overall flavor. If a fruity mix is missing sweetness, but you don't want to mask the nuances with sweetener, use Meringue. wllmc's Biscochito recipe uses it really well - turns a cookie into a sugar-sprinkled cookie. Anything you want a little sweeter, Meringue will do it without the unpleasant aftertaste of 'sweetener. Start low.

just curious what flavors and what you are mixing them into. like down in says .5 can change it..... I go +/- .5-1% to adjust. they say some of the tobaccos are even crazier tho, like point 2 up or down can totally change..

All non-tobacco flavors, mixed into Nude Nicotine 70/30 pg/vg, 12 mg. One recipe off the top of my head was HIC's Irish Cream Milkshake. I mixed it per the recipe and let it steep naturally for a few days . . . could barely taste it. I'm sure it's just my weird taste buds, because little ol' me once beat a 250 pound guy in a hot sauce eating contest  Thanks so much for the tip . . . I'll try bumping at .5% and go from there.

With lots of these recipes I'll make them into a base (a small one if the measurements are tricky). Say a recipe is total 3% flavoring - after tasting it, I may use it at 5% total flavoring. That way the proportions are the same. I'm vaping HICs wonderful Amaretto recipe this morning, but I need to bump up the percentage on this one - like you, I can hardly taste it (just enough I know it's fabulous). Certain flavors seem to escape my tastebuds, while others seem accented.

Great idea, so thanks! Yes, I can definitely taste some flavors much better than others. I mixed up HIC's Cherry Cola and love it just like it is. Seems to be the creamier flavors that escape me, but at least now I know how to bump them up!

Don't be afraid to bump up the percentages on that one substantially (Irish Lass too, by the way) if it's light to you. None of those flavors will warp into anything weird even if you double it. There's a huge range for 'yum' on Irish Cream, Caramel, and Vienna Cream especially.

Thanks, HIC . . . this is great to know! I didn't want to ruin your awesome recipe by adding too much, but just wasn't sure how much would be too much. Thanks again!

Just want to say hello. I've been lurking long enough to read this whole thread! Learning and taking notes, going to start making a mess pretty soon. I have figured out what flavors I want to order. Thank you all for this wealth of information, the receipes and the fun.

Good to "meet" you, misswish. Are you new to DIY or just to FA flavors? I'm always curious to hear reactions to first DIY results using FlavourArt, so I hope you'll tell us how it goes.

Thanks! I'm getting my order ready for payday. I would really like to be able to make juices to my taste, and save the money though I know that will take awhile. Yep, starting with FA, and maybe a few from TFA, per the recipes I have garnered from this thread.

so its been mentioned already now I want to know who else has ordered the fuji ! tried some of the original batch again just now. you guys know I am sensitive to sour flavors. so anyways somewhere over the last couple weeks its lost a lot of the sour and more sweetness has come through. its a pretty good apple flavor . the lowest I went was 2% before I started mixing it but maybe like 1.5% would make it more sweet initially and be more tasty. I'll probably mess around with the fuji this week. its only a dollar fifty. lol. come on you know you want to.

Can anyone give their thoughts on FA Pineapple? It smells like Garlic Death in the bottle. I dropped a small amount in whipped cream as well as water/sucralose and tasted them and it's okay, but I get the sense that if you overdo it, you're gonna have a bad time.

Being new to DIY, I'm still mostly making recipes I've found online and trying to get a feel for my individual flavors that way. Every recipe mixing session I do however, I make sure to mix one up freestyle. First I did an all FA Blackcurrant/Pomegranate (inspired by TVC's Black Pompom) that turned out pretty good, if a bit floral. Then a Blueberry/Bilberry Circus Cotton Candy that was wretched at first, but is aging into something not unlike that old BooBerry marshmallow cereal (cousin of FrankenBerry and Count Chocula:)).

Today I decided to take on a drink I used to love getting at Ruby Tuesday's called Blue Skies. It's a frozen Pina Colada with Peach Schnapps, poured over a shot of Blue Curacao orange zest liqueur. I don't have any Pina Colada flavoring, so I had to do it from scratch. Here is what I came up with:

8% Sweet Coconut Blend (equal parts FA Coconut, TFA Coconut Candy, TFA Toasted Marshmallow, TFA Brown Sugar Extra)
1% Coconut Extra (TFA)
3% Vanilla Custard (CAP) -for richness
2% Sweet Cream (TFA)
2% Pineapple (FA)
2% Pineapple (TFA) -I debated this for a long time. Added it out of lack of faith in FA Pineapple.
1% Jamaican Rum (FA) -I wanted to add the whole bottle. Smells so good.
1.5% White Peach (FA)
.5% Mandarin (FA)
2 drops per 5ml Tart n Sour (LA)
1 drop per 5ml Koolada

Still a faint scent of that FA Pineapple funk coming from the mixed bottle. Going to taste for the first time right now.

The coconut is perfect. Sweet, creamy, rich. Sits just slightly forward of AN AWFUL ROASTED GARLIC PINEAPPLE FLAVOR. I don't taste the rum, peach, mandarin, or candylike TFA Pineapple. Just perfect coconut... and evil, evil pineapple abomination. Going to douse the bottle in holy water and lock it away for 2 weeks.

Is this a normal thing with this flavor? Did I overdo it? Spoiled/tainted flavor? Or did my mistake lie simply in ordering it?
