So Cal
Good timing! I just put HIC's Spicy Cookie Lab on my blog. It's a custom recipe builder for all kinds of spice cookies. It makes recipes like Granny's Sugar-Sprinkled Gingersnaps, Oma's Nutty Lebkuchen, Mom's Sugar-Glazed Molasses Cookies... You should see how many tanks of spicy cookies I have around here, lol!

I made the extra-strength gingersnap recipe today. Haven't tried it yet, but tomorrow I'll free up a Reo :) I realized I did have the right Horchata after all, and despite my previous experiences, I'm sure that it'll shine in this recipe:D

yes !!! awesome. it is good :vapor:

Got mine finally from FA direct. Mixed some at 3% Strong fresh. Will try tomorrow after sitting 3 days. I didn't think it was to sour. But i'm just starting to get taste back. I love Bananas and apples. Two flavors that have been less than stellar in vape. Although FA banana is the closest to the real thing. Hoping Fuji turns out to be apple mecca.

Thanks, Huck and Amanda! I hope you get some useful vapes from it.

I grabbed a tankful of cookie lab rejects this morning, some early trials I poured together. In my morning fog (haha, pun intended) I pondered the flavor in my tank... cinnamon-honey-graham crackers! Those little samples were rejects, but combined they're something special. I circled stuff on my notes to try recreating this again later.

Somewhere in FA Cookie, Meringue, (tiny bit of) Honey, Cinnamon Ceylon, and TFA Molasses/Brown Sugar - lurks a great graham cracker. I hope some of these other partial tanks do fun things when combined, 'cause there sure are a bunch of them.

No, I didn't use Caramel at all. I number-crunched my notes - this is 2% Cookie, 1% TFA Brown Sugar Extra, 1% TFA Molasses, 1% FA Cinnamon Ceylon, 0.5% FA Meringue (which might not be needed at all), and a tiny 0.125% FA Honey. Very Honey-Maid graham cracker. But I realized TFA Molasses has 'trace custard notes', so there goes my idea of a perfectly vape-able graham cracker. There's no other way to get that necessary molasses flavor, needs at least 0.5% of Molasses, and 1-2% works better. Stupid custard notes

wllmc is probably off puffing his Biscochitos : http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/569112-im-bored-want-cookie.html

That thread sent me on a cookie binge. Currently working on gingersnaps, spice drops, molasses cookies. It smells like grandma's kitchen on cookie day around here. FA Cookie will be in them all - it's a little bottle o' cookie fairies - but also other brands. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/568975-looking-ginger-snap-flavor-recipe.html

I will definitely be checking out your ginger stuffs and cookie recipes. Gingerbread and cookies are great cool weather vapes. :)

What about using Maple Syrup (FA)? I use it instead of Molasses for the same reason.

I just stole your suggestion for my cookie lab (I gave you credit). FA Maple Syrup around 0.5% is excellent in cookies, good flavor and sweetness. I love it in my maple-cream cookies, and it'll be a great alternative for spice cookies, too. THANK YOU!

Vaping the gingersnap recipe now - of course delicious, as expected! First time I have ever tolerated that funky horchata in a vape LOL

TFA's Horchata Base is the one cinnamon flavoring I have that I can fully taste immediately after mixing, so I often use it during blitz-recipe-development sessions. When I find a recipe I like, I remake it later with FA Cinnamon Ceylon (tastes better to me) - if I feel like waiting a day or two for it to sit and gain strength. I don't know if other people perceive cinnamons like I do, but that's why I use that horchata base.

I whipped up some cookies using FA Maple Syrup, and I love 'em. I added 'GRAMPS' as a baker in my cookie lab; he uses 1.5% TFA Brown Sugar Extra and 0.5% FA Maple Syrup, so it gives the cookies a little maple instead of the distinctive molasses flavor. Definitely a different effect, but I'm enjoying these right now: Gramps' Slightly-Boozy Spice Drops (maple rum spice cookies), Gramps' Sugar-Sprinkled Gingersnaps (maple gingersnaps - very tasty), and Gramps' Nutty Lebkuchen (LOL - Vermont meets Bavaria - but it's good!) Some people don't like molasses flavor, and this is great alternative for them, too. Thanks again, man!

I may not be putting my crock pot up just yet. I just re-sampled my English Blend and the un-steeped batch isn't as smooth and blended, I'll be keeping an eye on it to see how long it takes.

Update, at about one week my uncooked English Blend is fantastic. It's well blended and super smooth but... it's not as flavorful as the cooked batch. My uncooked Maxx Blend is really good at this point also. My conclusion(possibly premature) is, if you don't mind waiting a week, heat steeping may not be worth the effort for some, when using VT nic.

Hey, has anyone had "Royal"? I tried translating some of the reviews for the FA site. One review led me to believe that it had something to do with mint and/or white chocolate. I ordered 11 samples last night and almost got it. Kinda wish I had just to see what it is.
