Not sure what to call it, but it's a winner (IMO).

1% Shade
1% Royal
1% Black Currant
.5% Cocoa
.5% Coconut

It tastes nothing like you'd expect.

THAT is the kind of tobacco imagination I'll never have. What are the dominant flavors? I'd guess the deep notes from Blackcurrant. I have all the flavors, and I like those two tobaccos together. I liked a 'Shady Royal', but this sounds more interesting.

I'm also not a fan of Summer Clouds. But the lemon cream you made - mmmmmm, good combo.

I like bakery/desserts and sweet and flavored tobaccos. Not much of a straight fruit vaper unless it's mixed with some creams and whatnot.

If you just want to try a couple FA, go for the creams to enhance whatever flavorings you already have. After you try FA creams, you'll be back for the rest ;)

bakery supplies: Apple Pie (for the great crust flavor), and your favorite fruits to mix with it: Peach, White Peach, Fuji apple (beat Apple IMO), Bilberry (like blueberry), Strawberry, etc - which ever you like best. If you like coffee-flavored desserts, add Tiramisu and Vienna Cream.

cookie supplies: Cookie and additives: Caramel, Butterscotch, Coconut, Lemon, Maple Syrup, Cocoa, creams, etc. - whatever flavor cookies you like best. You can also use Cookie with Apple Pie for tasty crust flavoring on whatever you're mixing.

creams: they go with tobaccos, pies, cookies, and fruits, and I'd recommend both Fresh Cream and Vienna Cream at minimum, and add Catalan if at all possible. That gives you a plain cream, a sweet and rich vanilla cream, and a slighly spicy slightly caramel cream. Between the three, you can make almost everything delicious.

fruits: FA's are realistic fruit flavors, not candy-tasting. Banana and pineapple are less strong that others you might have tried, but taste like the actual fruit. Just pick up a few of your favorites, along with some creams and Meringue (for sweetness).

other sweet stuff: Maple Syrup (for your cookies and tobacco, if you like maple), Meringue (excellent sweetener for fruits, especially with a little Fresh Cream), Peppermint (very pure flavor, a little creamy, a bit sweet, great alone, mixes well with many fruits), Anise (if you like white tic-tac mints), Cola and Black Cherry (for superb cherry Coke), maybe Honey (exceptionally sweet, exceptionally strong, very true flavor - nice in tobaccos as well as the usual uses)

gotta have: Vanilla Bourbon, just get some! Vanilla Tahiti is a different, more exotic flavor and goes great with fruit. Classic is sweeter but less complex than Bourbon. I think Vanilla Bourbon is the most 'gourmet' flavor of the three, most different from other brands. All are great!

misc: if you like coffee at all, get Espresso, Fresh Cream, and whatever flavors you like in your coffee. If you like nuttiness, I recommend Marzipan for sweet almond or Nut Mix for an assortment, or Hazelnut for strong and perfect hazelnut flavor. If you like tea, Black Tea is the one to get.

boozy: The Jamaican Rum and Irish Cream are absolutely delicious, plain or as additives. I couldn't mix much without them, especially the Irish Cream.

I like sweets a lot myself. There are some recipes on my blog, if you want to see what flavors work well together, and get a feel for the percentages you'll need. Lots of recipes in this thread, too!

Honestly, I'm not sure what I'd say the dominant flavors are. Definitely the black currant, but that nice round background from the coconut really changes the whole thing. It's surprisingly light in the tobacco department. Just enough to tone down the sweetness. The cocoa adds just a hint of bitterness, but you can hardly tell it's there.

I'm trying out the VG I got from Bullcityvapor, plus my Vaperstek nic base. (I don't use PG, except what's in my flavorings.) I can not smell ANYthing when I whiff the bottle of VG, and it's as clear as water. It is a thinner in consistency than my Wizard Lab VG has been. With WL, I add 10% water; with Bullcityvapor, I'm adding none. I like that convenience. I don't notice a change in flavor, but I swear my fruits are tasting just a little bit better now. That could be my imagination.

Cramptholomew, you have to give it a zippy name, so I don't have to call it "that shade-royal with currants, cocoa, and coconut that Cramptholomew posted earlier". I will try it during my next tobacco mood - it sounds good.

"A Currant Affair with Shady Cocovich"

"West Indies Albert Finney"

"Old Briar"

That's all I've got for now...

HIC, this post of yours is another keeper. So much valuable info here. Thanks you. I must be learning something from you as just this morning, and before your post, I put together the following, calling it "Old Captain N Cream"

VZ Old Captain 4% ( I love this flavor )
FA Fresh Cream 3%
FA Vanilla Bourbon 1%

Gotta wait a few days before trying it :)

Oh and cocco. Omg its so good in vt. Hands down favorite chocolate now

Yeah!! I can't believe FA Cocoa is so good with VT nic. For me, it changed from a flavor that smells great but vaped harsh (when I used WL nic) into dark deliciousness that tastes just like the smell. Mmmmmm, cocoa. I wish I could use higher percents without my coils getting dirty, though. Small price to pay :)

Any ideas for skor candy bars ? Would be so awesome got some bottles in my vape mail today going to try and stock my "liquor " cabinet from HICs blog

I don't know a toffee flavor for the center of Skor, but if you do, I know the chocolate! Capella's Chocolate Glazed Doughnut, add 2% to your toffee for instant Hershey-milk-chocolate-candy coating. I used to use that for a butterfingers recipe (aka 'diacetyl bar' lol).

edit: oh yeah, I forgot - I was using FA Butterscotch with FA Caramel for a toffee flavor recently, here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/headinclouds/6358-hics-twice-dipped-almond-toffee.html It worked for my purposes, but if you know a straight-up Toffee flavor that's good, use it instead.

liquor cabinet: Have fun! Now that I've tried all the recipes I could find, I just get a fresh tank and add random squirts of liquor flavors from that set of bottles. Who needs recipes and names! I like Frangelico more than I thought I would. Heck, I like 'em all a lot. Buttershots 'n creammmm...

Who uses mint with fruits? Do you use Spearmint, Peppermint or both, and which fruits do like mint best with?

I'm on a fruit kick. Watermelon-strawberry-tinybitofLime-peppermint at the moment, so fresh! Next up, mandarin-lime-fresh cream. DIY is so much fun!

I will as soon as someone finds me a fresh mint... Not peppermint or Spearmint. Then Lemon, Honey, and mint...hmmmm....

Can't keep up with you, HIC! Not five minutes ago you were talking tobaccos! Once I find a bunch of vapes I like, I don't do much experimenting. The batch of Peppered Cucumber I made is going down quicker than I anticipated... might have to try some Peppered fruits soon. Just made up another 10ml of Fuji - it's so tasty by itself :)

I was looking at Inawera for mints - they have lots! I've no idea which are good, and give that 'green' taste, though.

Sorry! Yesterday and day before I was playing with tobaccos. I tried some too strong, so now they can all sit in solitary confinement while I vape fruits. And that will lead to champagne, I'm sure. Which goes right back to Irish Cream, where I always end up.

I use TFA mint candy in a raspberry/honeydew mix. Also, I make a watermelon/strawberry/koolada mix with TFA flavors. I would imagine that one would be far better with FA watermelon and strawberry.

I bet the mint candy would work well with this.

Do you know if the TFA mint has the bad stuff in it? I would like to have a good, plain mint. I remember picking mint from my grandma's kitchen garden, long ago. Good stuff!

Their website doesn't show that it's known to be present from looking at the listing, though that doesn't mean it's not there. It could simply be a flavor they've yet to test.

TFA Peppermint has a distinct spearmint bit to it. In fact, before I used FA, my doublemint gum was plain TFA Peppermint with Koolada.
TFA Spearmint is not one I liked. There is something else in it (menthol?) that messes up the mint flavor for me.
Vaping Zone 'Fresh Breath' is a menthol blast. Their 'Mint Gum' is one of the most horrible flavors I ever vaped - not mint, not gum.
Hangsen Mint is totally menthol, strong menthol
Flavor West Candy Cane is exactly as named, pure peppermint and candy sweet, just like Halo's Kringle's Curse.
I know I've tried others that I'm forgetting now...probably forgotten for good reason, lol.

In my opinion, FA does Spearmint better than anyone else. It tastes just like tea I make from spearmint plants I grow (and dry), but a little more 'creaminess' and less 'snappiness' - which could be due to my max-VG habit. The (quite low-level) sweetness is like a real leaf to me. It beats every other spearmint I've tried for a true 'spearmint' flavor. No menthol to it, either.

FA Peppermint is true peppermint, no spearmint, no menthol. If it were sweeter, I'd like it more, but it would be more candy-like than authentic peppermint then.
