FOR SCIENCE!
I mixed up some Zen Garden last night at 1.5%. Short hot water bath, the shakes, and 18 hours with the cap off. Shook it up, threw it in an Atty, and... YUMMO! Very herbaceous, with a little bit of tobacco. Herbs on the inhale, and tobacco on the exhale. A little bit of Thai basil I think. Smooth, not harsh at all. I might go up to 2% with it, but it's definitely good and interesting at 1.5%. I'm not even sure what I would mix it with, if I was going to, because it really just stands out as a complexity in itself. It's a really nice departure from ANYTHING fruity, savory, sweet, or tobacco. Would recommend, obviously.

Okay, re-reading that description was just TOO tempting...so mixed up a 10ml bottle at 3%. It's had 30 minutes in the dehydrator @ 150F...

Holy Cow! If you like Peaches and you like "summer breezes" - this is FAN-VAPING-TASTIC!

It's recommended at 2-3%, but it seems a little weak to us at 3%. For reference, we like Hypnotic Mist @ 5% and love Oba Oba with Hypnotic Mist @ 5% each (total 10% flavoring).

This'll go GREAT with a splash of melon (it's screamin' honeydew to me), or other tropicals...or maybe even a touch o' cream!

Update (for steepers :::grin::: ) edit/re: Summer Clouds - 'Just tasted this after 2 hours @ 150F. We both agree - it's definitely "fuller" (in flavor & body) and the sharp edges are starting to 'mellow off'. The individual flavors are 'melting into one another'. Yes-oh-yes, this has got MAJOR potential for mixing with lots of different fruits n' flowers...and maybe even meringue. YUMZ!

We made a huge batch of 3ml testers when we first started (almost a year ago). At the time, we had around 70 FA flavors (hardly any tobaccos)...and tested them all starting at 1%, 3% & 5% (working the 1% & 3% upwards). We recall the Zen being "too much for us" at even 1% (and there's nothing in our notes about a tobacco taste or Thai Basil). BUT yay-yahooey for ECF...our taste-buddies have changed, and now we have your report (we LOVE Thai Basil and are just getting seriously into more of the FA baccy's). Thank you muchlee :)

Time to revisit Zen, for sure & for certain!

Another one we tested 'early on' (and liked, but never remembered to use ) is Marzipan! After finding it on sale at ECX today, we decided to mix up a bottle and revisit it...I'm vaping a tank as I type.

YUM! Creamy-creamy, a nice touch of almond, a taste of honey, a little bit of a 'bite'...and SWEET! This is a cookie waitin' to happen! (and it might just be fantastic in the tobaccos that don't have a 'major flavor profile' of their own).

In straight coffees? Hmmm, dunno. But in Tiramisu - oh yeah....and cream mixes, flans, puddings, custards & bakery creations :)

I ordered on Monday, and just placed another order before dinner... Haha.

I'm really enjoying these Flavor Art flavors. They're really tasty, and there's NONE of that astringent chemical taste. Very clean. I'm glad Purevapes has them at a price and size that I feel is affordable and manageable. I hate ending up with 10ml of something I can't use.

I ordered 2 of these from Amazon, so that I can transfer the flavors from those squeeze bottles to something I can use a syringe with - http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002JV6976

Edit - Nikhil just added Torrone, in case anyone's interested.

Yeah, I've been taking the droppers off, but I'm a Nervous Nelly, and foresee myself testing out a new product called "Zen Garden Cologne". Right now I have a block of wood with a hole drilled in it to set my TFA bottle in so it doesn't spill. Will do the same for the new 1 dram bottles.

lol maybe ill do that for the dark vapor. I got a piece of foam and used a dremel and drill out little holes about half way through it to fit tanks and drippers and stuff. got a piece of this foam construction paper and covered all the sides then cut circles where holes in the foam were. looked cool and worked awesome. tried it for my DIY and just felt like I had less control over everything lol I know it sounds backwards. i did knock over a little bottle of caps VC once before. luckily I have mass quantities of it and my counter tops smelled great while I was mixing. I usually set everything out in a row in the order im mixing it. ill open it , measure it, then cap it immediately also. nic always last and lid back on asap.

With the dropper bottles I've been forcing a small syringe needle(red color) through the cap and twisting it around until it loosens up. It's working well for me and the cap will still seal properly.

After a very close call nearly spilling a glass bottle I've started always holding them in one hand while using the syringe with the other.

I had 3 tanks yesterday, Vienna Cream plus each of FA's vanillas. Of course I like them all; I swapped 'em back and forth all day, thinking I found my favorite, then changing my mind. The tank that ran out first: Bourbon. It's a little less sweet with Vanilla Bourbon, and I think vaping these sweet flavors all day led me to the least-sweet one.

I'll keep using the vanillas as I always have. Classic for pure vanilla extract flavor. Tahiti for a wilder vanilla (I think it has a whiff of almond, too). Bourbon for dark vanilla. I wouldn't be without any of them.

So, test done, I am SO ready for anything without vanilla today! I'm vaping Anise now with a cup of (real) coffee, mmm, good combo.

I'm going to play with fruits this week! Blackcurrant (great flavor), Concord Grape, Bilberry, Pomegranate... with a tank of Grapefruit-Lemon handy to clear my palate between experiments. First "fruit mood" I've had in a long time.

hahah alot of times it does, some of those caps just dont want to come off without a fight and if you accidentally squeeze thats where the crossed eyes come in . a mouth full of super concentrates are not always tasty. the jamacian rum is tho lol
LOL at the mental image I'm getting - does this include snarling sounds and wildly darting eyes?

playing with absinthe yesterday and today ugh lol... the FA orange smelled really good in it. my buddy is going to have to try it tho. I still cant get into that taste :vapor:

Maybe you'd like it with horehound added, like I do. LOL kidding - you'd probably hate it more. I looove anise and all the similar flavors. Licorice Plus with Blackcurrant, oh yum - and makes root beer extra delicious.
