Oh, pity my tired taste buds. After my mixing/tasting party, they're ready for a vacation. Usually I'd vape Vienna Cream or Peppermint to get over the burn-out, but I wanted something else. Plain Lemon Sicily (2%, though I usually like a tad more) is hitting the spot, like vaping Limoncello liqueur. That should do me for today. What do you all vape for a flavor break?

I have a Raspberry/Rose Candy/Hibiscus/Honeysuckle/lychee thing that I vape from time to time.

Is the Lemon Sicily sour at all? (I hope so, because a good strong lemony vape sounds like it should be my next purchase...)

No, it's not sour. It's just like that lemon liqueur or an Italian ice (especially with a little Koolada). With just a little sweetener added, it's like a lemondrop. Not artificial, fresh, but definitely not sour. The bottle smells like what I actually wanted when I got it: tart and lemony. I was hoping to make a Lemonheads candy flavor, but this won't go there. I've never found anything close to that. Most other lemon flavoring reminds me of cleaning products, at least Lemon Sicily tastes genuine.

Cool. Your description sounds awesome. Maybe I'll add some lemon juice to give it a zing (yeah, I know, additives, shmadditives).

A flavor description, 'cuz I'm bored:

FA Tutti Frutti, also called Blenderize: 2.5 - 3%. For us Americans, this is exactly Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Gum. I saw some Italian reviews saying it's like a gum from India called Big Babol. Anyway, it's a new stick of Juicy Fruit, quite sweet combination of mystery fruit flavors. Unlike chewing gum, this flavor doesn't fade.

So what flavor is Juicy Fruit supposed to be, anyway? For the curious: Honey Bees, Whiskey, and Juicy Fruit Gum | smellslikescience.com

Thanks for the link that was an interesting read!

I just mixed up a big batch of Grapefruit Melody... err... aka, Citrus Mix. I'm going to have to keep some of this stuff around, it's a good change up for Espresso overload. :p BTW, my tobacco blend is not too bad, kinda smoky grapefruit, I could see it being a secret ingredient in a complex tobacco blend.

I should have PureVapes-mail tomorrow, looking forward to new flavors. I see Torrone-Tiramisu in my near future. :)

I made an Irish Cream-Tiramisu yesterday that turned out pretty good. Not great yet though. Needs some tweaking.

Those are both flavor-packed flavorings to me. A little Fresh Cream would smooth it out. Or a little Vienna Cream would smooth while adding vanilla and sweetness, sort of like a grown-up milk shake or scoop of French vanilla ice cream on top. Or maybe a little of each...

Here's a great pairing I'm liking: Pomegranate and Lime Tahiti, equal quantities. My recipes always start with pairs, but I like these two so much I'm vaping it with nothing else for a while. It's fresh and peppy but not too sour, sweet but not syrupy. It's a beverage-like flavor that I plan to try with cola, or champagne, maybe white grape, maybe a cocktail-inspired recipe. Could make a hard candy flavor, too - it reminds me of some some fancy hard candies I had once.

My latest batch of Tiramisu (I can't quit playin with this stuff) I added Classic Vanilla, Vienna Cream and a touch of Cinnamon Ceylon, it's pretty tasty.

Off topic really quick....HIC...what % do you use tfa wintergreen as a standalone flavor?

I originally used 12.5% (1 ml flavoring, 8ml base). These days I use about 3%, which still tastes fine, and my coils stay fresher. It's one that doesn't get weird tastes as you change the percent, just changes strength. Wint-o-green Lifesavers, yeah!

Hey, ya know what would be good? Vienna cream and pineapple. Good thing I have some in my current order. Hopefully it'll be here next week.

Hmmm, sounds tropical. Got coconut and rum? Vienna has gone fine with everything I've ever added it to.

What else do you have coming? I decided to go a whole month ordering nothing at all..calendar moves so slooowly.

holy :censored: dark vapure and camtel ultimate :danger: !!!!!!!!!!!!!! my god my nose and vapemail will never forgive me ! lol... :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: man I made 5 samples of dark vapure but im not sure Ill ever try it. camtel ultimate is even worse . maybe in 2 months ill be able to give em a whirl lol ..... this vanilla classic tho is pretty bomb dot com tho

Don't feel bad, Dark Vapure comes off as fresh hay / grass to me (which I can't stand). At .5%, 1% and 2% it's just too much. I've had a 1% sample steeping for well over a month now and nothing has changed a bit. Tossed it in the UC for 2 hours a few days ago, left it to set for 48 hours and tried it again...nope. Not happening.
