The SX30, which is probably a VTC4.
I was about to grab a couple of the purple "35 amp" 650s over the holidays and actually picked up a pair of the LG's for about $2 more than a SINGLE Efest hah.I don't understand after so many people complaining efest but its prices are still high. We need more media bashing so that the price can drop and I can afford to buy more, lol.
I've been following this thread with great interest. I'm a noob to all this and like many have purchased Purple Efest 18650 3100ah 20A from a reputable dealer in Holland after what I thought was reasonable research and am now a little concerned! I don''t have all my vaping kit yet (it's on the way) but will be using a Vicious Ant Phenom MOD with a Squape R RBA and planned to use coil builds around the 1.5ohm range (not planning to sub ohm). Am I going to be ok with this?
Also having watched the extensive videos on the Pegasus Vapor Academy about different batteries I notice he mentions the Samsung INR's as the current gold standard but when I search for them on the Samsung corporate site I can only find a reference to 18650 batteries that's dated 2008, so maybe even the blue Samsungs are not what they seem?
One quick thing I've noticed which is also a relief - I'm using an iPhone app for coil build calculations called MicroCoil Pro and in this app you select the battery make and model from a large database in the settings which it then uses in the various measurements. I was thinking that the calculations it does would all be wrong, assuming it just used factory specs, but I've noticed that the app shows the Battery Max Amps (Real) as being 6.4A for the 3100ma 20A Efest which would be in line with what the testers have concluded!! That's quite impressive.
Sorry but I didn't read the entire thread here.
I am a noob and new Sig 100w plus owner with efest 18650 3100 mah batteries. Does this post apply to me also.
Forgive my laziness in not reading through
Therein lies the issue with Efest. They don't put the Continuous Discharge on their wrappings, they put the pulse. Anyone buying Efest batteries needs to do a LOT of Google research before choosing one of theirs. I use the 2500mah "35A" batteries which are just rewrapped HE2's so I don't feel bad about them at all, it just took some extra work to find out what they truly were.

I just read about this issue. I bought two Efest 18650 35A 2500 batteries. Got them in the mail yesterday. They did have an authentication sticker, but when I try to find where to type it in, there is no box to do so. I emailed them. I was surprised with a prompt response. Although there was a language gap. Then after I wasn't sure what she was saying, she said take a pic of it, and she would check for me. The response that second time was very speedy. I have not sent a photo yet, nor taken one. Why can't they just fix that on their website? If the Efest battery is not up to par, I will be unhappy. I don't have a lot of money to waste. Luckily I bought two. This was my first purchase of high drain 18650 batteries. I had planned to use them in a Panzer mech mod. I was told to get the Sony. But I needed other things, and the Efest was in stock. I wish I had seen this thread sooner.
