IMHO, or IMAO, there is no such thing as the perfect e-cig out there. Every single one of them has it's pros and cons.

For a beginner, it's always best to use something that's ego style, meaning ego-t, riva, kgo, vv ego...that sort of thing. They're small, gives good battery life that will easily last a day for most beginners, easy to use, and is compatible with almost any atomizer and cartomizer out there. Whether the e-cig leaks or not will depend on what atomizer or cartomizer system you use. Most of them will leak given the wrong situation.

Personally, I find that the best beginner package is an ego style battery with a 510 connector, coupled with a filler type cartomizer of some kind. The battery lasts, and filler type cartomizers tend to be less likely to leak, and are easy to fill. These cartos are also cheap enough that you won't feel too bad about chucking them after they start reaching end-of-life. They're also cheap enough where you won't mind having 3 of them operating at the same time with 3 different flavors, if you're the type that likes to switch around through the day. An ego style battery with 510 connector is also easy to find atomizers and cartos locally, as 510 stuff seem to be the most popular here. Cost for a complete package with everything you will need plus e-liquid for a month will probably cost you less than RM200 from some local dealers

Not to say that the monster is a bad product, but I do prefer having my options open when it comes to being able to use other cartos and atties.

If you are able to, I do advise beginners who are serious about switching to e-cigs to get a good quality mod as their one and only e-cig purchase. Mods are a great investment, as long as you choose a mod that is proven, almost indestructible and performs well. It's better than buying different things to try out and end up spending more than just going straight to the mod. A good mod like an Omega, Alpha, Silver Bullet or anything from the GG range is probably gonna last your lifetime, and these types of mechanical or semi-mechanical mods tend to be ultra reliable. I've actually dropped my own mod into a kitchen sink full of water before and all I had to do was clean it out, replace the battery, and it was ready to go again. Cost for a decent mod, if bought locally, together with charger, battery, e-liquid, etc. could run you upwards of RM600 for something like and Omega, to more than RM1000 for something like a GGTS with UFS. It's a heavy investment, but it's well worth it if you are seriously into vaping.

haha, i get what you mean b89ers...ever since i wanted to get a e cig i was looking at those standard e cig from ecig.com if ive not mistaken it cost bout rm290 the priciest among their product bt after doin some research, i sorta dislike it because they're using cartridges rm15 for 5 wont last long and poor flavouring afterall its 2011 cartomizers are more like it...then i came through the ego t(was planning to buy it till the leaking issue) been hearing good things except for the leaking issue bt maybe using another cartomizer will fix it....after that i came through gardiva, and i asked who's the manufacturer bt havent been getting any answer(the online sales told me he is not allowed to tell me the manufacturer of the monster)...after that i was watching review from gimmgreen and wanted to get a pv cause it lasts longer and cheaper maintenance better quality etc. so i was looking and found a bigvapor selling the silver bullet bt its a bit pricey and im not sure whether the warranty is good ant...also came through indulgence and e power...really having a hard time trying to get a good first pv as there's not much option in malaysia =]

I wouldn't know. but since they declare it as £10 at most you'll be taxed is RM45 that is if it is at 100%. So don't worry too much. Including shipping should be around RM400++.

Hope that helps
that price is not bad at all for quality! i'd rather pay a little more for a better product than something that is of a bad quality...however im still keeping my options open just in case there's any good products that are sold in malysia...thanks for the info so much appreciate it alot! =] keep vaping!

Like Jack said, everything has pros & cons, no perfect things, no matter is china made or US/Europe made.
There's no escape from it, just face it.

As long as you understand the PV well, you will know how to use it at it's best and avoid it's weaknesses.

same like car, if you drive a sports car, you will want to avoid roads full of bumps because knowing the car height is too low. But the car will perform best at high ways. If a car has easy overheating / water overflow problem, you won't wanna drive it up to Genting. You don't wanna breakdown at half way.

In PVs, there are ways to use it best, and ways to avoid problems. No matter what pros & cons it has, we know there's people happy with it because it suits the way they use it, and people hate it because it doesn't suits their way. But everyone have a same point, ...........always looking for a better type.

there is nothing wrong to start off with something like KGO, EGo bla bla bla despite their functionality and looks being compared with other juggernaut PV like provari, ggts bla bla bla

coz u might dislike the vaping taste and lifestyle and give up/ re lap halfway (which is good coz now u can sell your toys to me cheap cheap)

start small. then grow. how fast? depending on your budget.

to me, i hate the part of accidentally losing my expensive toy which can happen since we never know. unlike those sub rm200 PV....hilang satu ada lagi satu spare

its your choice, im just sharing my opinion.
