HHMMMMM....I feel bad for your Stealth. He's so handsome yet sounds like he's lonely. I best take him to join my small family ;)

View attachment 374806

And NO Russ...you can't have mine for your test! Bad boy...

Not lonely, has the Stealth Mini and Military to keep him company. ;)

There were lots of volunteer's to adopt the unicorns back when I ran the cult forum (as you know). The Stealth (that is a 1 of 3) is special, but the real unicorn is the Tan Military Prototype that is a one of one.

Oh dear, i dropped my reo in the toilet. Battery will be fine, i'm in the right place to dry it with a bit of bog roll. Wick - hmm, not so cool.

Desperate measures: this is what you do. Remove the wick. Dry the atty with the same bog roll.

You need a wick (it is possible to use a strip of bog roll, but you're likely used to KDG and fancy stuff like that right?) - so you approach any woman and ask if she has a small cotton bud/q-tip she can spare. If she's really hot looking, ask for 2.

They ALL have them in handbags.

You make yourself a crappy cotton wick - it'll last at best a day. Ask her if she's married. Ask her if she wants another go.

I still have 3 provaris left in my mod collection and don't foresee ever getting rid of the 3 I have left, strictly for sentimental reasons. I rarely use them anymore, but I have a lot of respect for Provape's commitment to quality. I have never owned a regulated device as well built and rugged as a provari. Even my first reo, a VV grand, had to be sent in for a repair after I dropped it on the cement floor at work, because the fire button got stuck in the fire position. My v2 provari which was my everyday go everywhere mod for well over a year and a half, never failed me once despite quite a few tumbles onto the same cement floor. Not knocking the reo at all, love my reos, they are practically all I use, and a couple of my LP grands have also taken tumbles onto the cement and kept on ticking with no issues and to be clear the VV worked afterwards, just had to use the power switch inside the door to operate it before I sent it in for repairs. So even though I don't use my provaris anymore, they did provide me with a worry free vape experience and kept me off of the analogs for over half of my vaping journey to date and for that I will always be thankful. I just moved on to a better vape experience with the REO and also might I add, customer service from Rob that is second to none.

Sorry to hear about how your REOs haven't survived being dropped. My experience has been quite different and found them to be quite indestructible. I'm very clumsy but I found the following results....

Seriously, many REOnuats have different PVs for many different reasons so your not alone. ;)

My issue with tube mods was not the device itself but the inconsistent nature of tanks that we used to have to use. I'm sure that's improved some with the Kayfuns/R91s and so on, but i have dark nightmares of leaking tanks and failing atty heads, of punching cartos.

It is possible to make that stuff work, but it's a black art and far too time-consuming.

The first mod my wife wanted was an EVIC, which i duly provided. She loved it. I found it insulting to be informed that it was shutting off because i took more than a 6 second drag!

It's crazy to read stories about peeps who have vaped a super long time and all the crap they went through and paved the way for all of us today. And so glad the "pioneers" stuck with it, developed it and taught us all the tricks of the trade. If I started back when it first came out, don't think I would have lasted. LOLOLOL it sounded way too complicated and a lot of DIY to get things to work.

Uh, I guess I might not have been completely clear. I have had no issues with my lp grands, nor do I anticipate any problems, they have operated flawlessly. They deliver a vaping experience that is superior to anything I have used in almost 3 years. I was just sharing my experience between 2 regulated devices. [emoji41]

Yep, that has been my experience also, besides being a better vape, it doesn't get much simpler than a reo.

All you need is to go Greek (by Leo) and put a Sofia rebuildable atty inside a D-base tank on top of a Provari and you'll be in heaven. Put another one inside a Slim tank to top off your iTaste vv3. For me the Sofia is a dream come true. My builds on it lasts for weeks and I've got all the power I need. No more cartos for sure! I have an equal number of Provari's and Reos and they all serve me well. I'm really loving both the RM2 and the Sofia, and oh what a difference between those and what we had to use 5 years ago. :)

Gil, if you remember, those little cartridges held about 20-25 drops of liquid, too. All that and we still had to refill ALL the time. Everybody thinks that the longevity of the battery charge was the biggest problem with the early (pre eGo) e-cigs, but before cartomizers (which were revolutionary!!!!,) we were carrying around 5 or 10 little bitty cartridges with us (besides the 4 or 5 batteries) everywhere we went.

Now that is what I would describe as barking up the wrong tree in the wrong place.... If you want to talk about how great the P-ildo and whatever you want to put on, please do so in their part of the forum and not here in REOville!!!

Oh btw, I have found my vaping heaven in a REO Grand w/ Odin atty on top dual coiled to perfection blowing massive flavorful clouds................

The very nature of this topic kind of set the stage for it.... ;) I have been using REO's since late 2010. DAMN good mods, which I enjoy VERY much. Many have found them to be the only mod they need. Others, like myself, also enjoy trying and using other devices. One of the reasons I strayed away from REOVille over the past couple of years is the same type of fanboi'ism I see surrounding other popular devices. It kind of makes one feel unwelcome if you own or speak of other mods. I'm not saying it's rampant, but still there nonetheless...

thewomenfolk owns and enjoys REO's... AND other devices. Again, given the nature (and underlying intent) of this thread, I see nothing wrong with their post. Now, if someone came along and started an entirely new thread about how the xxxx mod is so much better than a REO... I can see where that does not belong in the mod-maker's forum.. ;)

BTW: I also own and enjoy the Sophia by Leo.. I have 3 of them, and use one on my converted VV Grand. Sweet little rebuildable that is great in a tank, and also BF's quite well.. :vapor:

I remember all to well. It was obvious to me then that this innovated pursuit by early users for the better vape was going to continue and here we are still improving.
