Thanks Levi! I need to go to bed so I can enjoy with Mrs. Godzilla and the kids have cooked up for me. Lots of home made stuff laying around. Pretty typical as my wife (Mrs. Godzilla) is an arts major so craft projects are in abundance. Breakfast will be a given as well. Then I have to go to work. Yes, I have a real job, and work 40 hours a week there. How do I do it? I just do it. And I only offer for sale what is on hand, and that I can deliver within a day or two. Decorations are the exception.

Happy Fathers day to everyone who are dads.

Also, thanks for adding to the thread.

Steve

Happy fathers day all! Unfortunately I will be spending fathers day alone. Just me and my 5v FB. My family and I were all supposed to be on the 2nd half of a 2 day float down the 11 point river right now. Unfortunately due to commitments at work I could not get off friday or saturday. I insisted they go on as we had planned the trip for quite some time. Now as I sit here typing this and seeing all of the "Happy fathers day's" all over the place i'm a little sad. But i'll make it...I have my 5v FB and a couple bottles of Kick Bass....It's all good!

Can you guys give me some examples of your favorites at 5v and 3.7v ? What juices have you found are disgusting at 5v but good at 3.7 ... and vice versa? I've found that my darker juices tend to be best at 5v and 3.7 with a lr atty .. coffee's, chocolates, etc. and fruity ones, best at 3.7 with a regular atty .. but this isn't always true. Pineapple Shake from KBV is awesome at 5v. Pineapple upside down cake at 5v makes me want to gag.

Strangeness, I tell you.

Happy F-Day. Sorry you are blue, Borockster .. but I can think of no better cure for the blues than a 5v Foxy Box and some KBV juice!

!. I am hammered right now.

You could tell...because he was HAMMERED!

2.My company won a lot of the big awards tonight

Congrats!

3. I think I hit back space like 17 times in #1 and 2

See number 1.

Some juice tastes better at high voltage
some at low
The ones that taste better at high voltages are WAy more satisfying than any other vapes at low voltages IMO

3.7 volt box mods are best with 1.5 to 2 ohm cartos
5 volt box mods are best with 3 ohm cartos

This info is a starting point.

You can adjust from here.

If you are using a 3.7v and using a LR 1.5 or 2 ohm carto, If it is too warm, go to a 2.0 or 2.5 carto

5 volts can be used in a huge range depending on your juice.

On the 5v the batteries will allow 2 ohms or greater resistance on your atty or carto, because of the protection circuit in the batteries. 2.5 to 3.0 is ideal. on rare occasions, certain juice at 5 volts are best at 4 ohms (high volt or hv atty or carto)

Thanks for the info Steve! That's exactly what I've been looking for!

Cleo, I'm no expert but I stick with lighter juices in the 5v and darker in the 3.7.
Yes Steve, it took 64 back spaces to get that right- I have a terrible time remembering that so I call the 3.7 fifty cent and the 5v gaga to help keep me straight. :p (fingers crossed this I'd right and poor zilla doesn't have have to straighten me out again, dude has amazing patience)
I don't use attys much just cartos so I haven't played around much. Not sure how this post would help anyone..geesh.

a bit OT, but this ais about primer in atomizers:

1.) Drip 3 drops of unflavored PG into the atty and then hit the buttone repeatedly until the PG is gone far, far away... OR

2.) Use 3 drops of pure grain alcohol (PGA, sometimes branded as "Everclear.") Press the button repeatedly until the PGA has gone far, far away.

3.) Use a short soak in _distilled_ water. This is important: Only distilled water. Bottled drinking water, R.O. filtered water, Britta water, tap water will *not* . Only distilled water is relatively ion-free,. After soaking the atty in the distilled water, blow it dry with a hair dryer.

Personally I don't like the vinegar/baking soda method for a couple reasons. First of all, I think the reaction of the acid vinegar and base baking soda could damage the glue sued in making the atty, or perhaps cause some corrosion on the coil. Secondly, if you don't get the vinegar taste out of the atty...yuck. But YMMV.

I am currently using a regular resistance (3.0 ohm?) on my 5 volt foxy box, vaping KBV Tootsie Rolly. I am also using an LR carto on my 3.7 volt Foxy, vaping Vapor Bomb's Mojito, which doesn't do well at this wattage, so I'll need to change out the carto in a minute here.

Oh, back to the atty cleaning trthing. An ultrasonic jewelry cleaner can be found on overstock.com and several other sites for around $40.00. Personally, I just vape through the nasty primer, usually some unflavored PG to start. It's not a big deal to me, but I can see where it could bother others.

My 5v box Foxy should be here tomorrow or Tuesday. Thank you so much Steve. I hope you had a fine Father's Day. I was also an art major and my kids all made homemade stuff for Will when they were young. Christmas Tree decorations were all made by them also as we didn't have alot of money then. I still put those decorations on the tree....lol...

I need some advice. Do 5volts give you a stronger throat hit than a 3.7? I was hoping that I could decrease my nicotine with 5v. Just wondering if you noticed a difference? Ciego you are welcome to advise also????

I will review the Foxy Box Mod after a week or two. I like to take my time before forming an opinion....

I would say it does give a little better throat hit. I think the fact that its a little warmer, with a little more vapor helps with the throat hit. Hopefully this will help you cut down on the nicotine :) I find the 5 volt more satisfying for sure.

Try KBVs RY4. Its awesome, if you like a mellow tobacco flavor with slight sweetness from the hints of vanilla and caramel.

Hey Ciego, how long does all this take you to clean an atty? Just curious. I might share with you what I do after you tell me!

I have to agree with Steve, but then it depends on what resistance you're using as well. 1.5 ohm at 3.7 is real close to 3.0 at 5v so keep that in mind. That said, I find I'm using the Boge 3.0 standard cartos more on 5v than I am the 1.25 or 1.5 duals that I love so much on 3.7. Why? Throat hit and VAPOR. I have reduced my nic from all 36 to mostly 24 now because I started getting headaches. I'm currently hooked on Dekang's Desert Ship/Camel Full flavor because it rocks on this 5v box with a cheap standard carto that just seems to keep on going, it's been weeks! Seriously... Hope that helps.

Hey Rob, did you mean you have gotten weeks out of one cheap carto? Are we talking a Boge?
