I honestly didn't know the first thing about vaping when I went to the store. I only knew my friend bought one from someone at work and it was keeping her from smoking (for the most part). I just figured since I had a little money I'd try it, not even planning to quit cigs. Day two and I figured it was a waste of money because of juice flavor, but not because of the Spinner I bought. That's an excellent first device for a beginner and I'll recommend it again. Day three I decided to try it again and it stuck, mostly thanks to what I read about vaper's tongue. I WANTED to have it as I hoped it would keep me from worrying about the juice thing...lol Vaped up a storm and got used to the juice.
Heck, I've only been HERE for three weeks and vaping for only a couple of days before that....lol
But then, I'm a VERY fast learner when I want to know something and I have mad research skillz, yo.
I've been here longer than I've been a registered member.
The first time I looked into vaping, it wasn't a hard look. I wasn't serious about quitting smoking so my searches were a peek here and there- that was a long time ago.
This time I researched until my eyes were ready to fall out my head. I absorbed so much information I felt like I was ready to take over the world.
The first kit was an eGo and that lasted me all of 2-3 days before I decided I wanted something else.
At night I'd lie in bed watching everything related to vaping on YouTube like it was the Investigation Discovery channel.
By week 2 I had a Segelei Zmax and vaper's tongue or as another site puts it- tongue fatigue.
As much as I enjoyed not smoking I found myself sometimes not enjoying vaping- I had all these different flavors and no longer knew what any of them were supposed to taste like.
Interesting point to note- if you don't know what vapers tongue is, you just end up thinking all the juice you bought was no good.
By week 3 I think I had a mech but still couldn't really taste flavors. Part of my problem was not drinking enough water unless you count the water used to make coffee.
By week 4 I knew I was getting a ProVari but had to wait until the following month to get it (family will suck you dry).
The great thing about PV's is you can stick with one or many- we have an endless array of choices and I'm not done shopping yet.
