Ok, I have a bunch of 510 attys, even a few Mega attys.
They all look the same inside, (a disorganized mass of little wires
wrapped around everywhere) except one.
This one has what looks like a shiny metal washer around the bridge.
Everything is nice and neat inside this one, no mess of wires.

On the outside, it looks exactly the same as all the others.

Question is, what is it? And what do I ask for if I want more of these?

Thank you again for all your help :)

I can only go by my own experience, but Joye 510 atomizers have a metal mesh covering the bridge - the hump in the center of the atomizer chamber, and then there is metal mesh that also surrounds the base and the coil pot. The metal mesh is used to absorb juice so that it's not puddling near the coil. People who drip esp. like the mesh for that reason. It also helps prevent some flooding of the coil because it will hold juice and it will also help prevent the atomizer from easily going totally dry.

Joye 510 atomizers also will run hotter - which means more vapor and more flavor with some flavors.

The other type - that looks like a washer at the base rather than the metal mesh, are what people call 'clones' (Joye was first in 510's) and they run cooler - more like a 901 atty and imo, produce less vapor and less flavor with some of the stronger tobacco flavors.

In my experience with the clones - and I think it is because there is no metal mesh at the base to hold juice - I get that nasty 'out of juice/dry atty' taste more often with them, than with the Joye attys. All you have to do is refill/top off or drip, but with the Joyes, unless your really go past the point of loss of flavor, you'll not run into that dry atty nasty taste.

If you want more clone attys, just asked on the boards where you can get 510 atty 'clones' or non-Joye 510 atomizers.
