I have a couple box mods, one being a cana 30w, the other being a Smok Xpro M50 50 Watt Mini Box Mod. In my cana which I have had for around 4-5 months, I had an (authenticate) Sony vtc5 battery. And the M50, I just bought a Purple Efest 18650 20A/35A 2500mAh Battery. Just wanted to get you're guy's opinions on the matter of which batter I should use in my M50 as right now its my primary device. My one friend tells me to swap the vtc5 in the new device as its a much better battery. But I just wanted to follow up with you guys as you have yet to steer me down the wrong path.... yet lol

- Also a side note, when ever I have my dripper on and im vaping at 50 watts ( .6 ohm coil btw ), after about 20 minutes it adjusts itself to 45/40 watts at some point. Like I will press the fire button and it goes "adjust wattage" and lowers itself down to something significantly lower. Is this because the battery is dropping off and it doesnt have the power to supply the proper watts im trying to tell the device to vape at? Ive never dealt with a mod which does this so I wanted to make sure.

- And third but certainly not last, throw out a good ejuice you guys vape on, im looking to change it up a tad from Mt Bakers juice. I have no preference, just throw out a good juice you all have enjoyed and ill give it a look see.

Anyway thanks in advance ... cheers :toast:

It doesn't really matter at 50watts with those batteries are both are within tolerances even if you're doing 0.2 oh the Smok. Since your Smok is probably pulling more amps, you might want the higher mAh in it just for battery life.

I've heard weird things about that one, like it not even having reverse battery protection -- and I don't have one. However, batteries come off a charge at 4.2V, then fairly quickly get to 3.7V and then lower... and there's only so much buck/boost circuitry and capacitors can do.

I'll leave this to others, or encourage you to search the 10,000 other posts that'll even narrow it down by what strawberries people like. :)

It was more of a generality, like whats in your setup at the moment after you spent the time answering all my questions lol. But thanks, I have already read most of the topics of "what are you currently vaping on".

The purples are good if your comfortable spending that much for a high drain battery. Unfortunately the Smok Xpro M50 chip set has not been without a plague of bad reviews....

Meh.... I work In the EMS field so I dont like to walk around with a big setup. And I got a new battery / mod / and two tank for under 100 $. So I wasn't expecting the accuracy of lets say a provari or hana. I just wanted something more powerful then 30watts and was cheap.
