Question about battery and tank compatibility

Hey guys,

Got it my first cape a few months ago, evod kit. Realized I wasn't thrilled with the tanks, so I got a pro tank 2 mini; way better. I just got in my atty and put it together, but my batteries aren't in yet. So, I tried to put on my evod batteries to test/adjust the coils, but the batteries light just flash a few times. Will these not work? Are they just not charged enough to handle the coils?

Thanks for the help guys!
Joe

Blinking light on an ego battery can mean either the battery is low on a charge or a short in the coil. If the battery is fully charged, then you will need to replace the coil head in the tank.

If you have an ohm reader, it can tell you if the coil is dead or has a short. Dead coil will read zero; short will display a variety of numbers without settling on one.
