They are the best clearo right now because of the Bottom Vertical Coil (BVC). It is reported they produce the best flavor and vapor. If they are too much you can get a Kanger Mini Protank 2. Much cheaper and are also glass. I prefer the MPT2 over the 3 because the 3 uses more power and I don't notice a difference in the flavor or vapor.

Know what you mean about the lingo. Takes awhile to learn.

non41, I have seven or eight of the ego twists and pair them with mini Pro Tank 3s and full size PT3s. Good vapor and great taste. The 1300 maH batteries are a little bigger around than the 1100s and a little heavier but will last a little longer before recharging. I think, but am not sure, that hey also make a 1600. If you get the full size PT3s be sure to use the trim ring. It looks better and helps support the bigger PT3s.

$30 may seem like alot. Are you trying to quit cigarettes? How much do/did you spend on them?

There are mods with replacable batteries or mods like your ego that you throw away when the battery dies. If you are using replacable batteries you must have a charger and normally charge the batteries by taking them out and placing them in the charger. Mods with nonreplacable batteries are charged in the mod itself.
Storing more power takes more space. Clear as mud right?

I use a mini protank 3 for tank cracker juice and a clone kayfun mini for all the rest.
A lot of people i know use the innokin iclear 16 dual coil clearomisers on eGo batteries. Both the protank mini and the iclear 16 are relatively cheap and easy to maintain / change heads...
I have tried a lot of the new tanks and there are better performing ones out there but the cost doesn't justify (for me) the difference.

If you want glass, the Protank 2 can be had for around $20. Every part on it is replaceable so you won't need to buy another one unless you want to. If you are price conscious and willing to compromise glass for plastic, the Innokin iClear30 ($10-$14) works great on the egos, too. I use both on mine and I'm happy with it, for sure.

The price is a lot to me because I'm just starting out, and coming from my $50 eroll mini with two ecigs and a portable charger. So 30 for just a tank seems like a lot to me. But if I get really into it down the line I could see myself wanting the best of the best, but for now I'm taking the economical route.

I hear a lot about those pro tanks and they are an option for this kit:

What would you guys recommend? I don't know the difference between the Twist and the Spinner and Spinner 2 batteries. I wish they posted the length/diameter of them.

Is the innokin iclear 30 safe with volatile juices? I read that if it's not polycarbonate then it could be okay.
