question about buzzpro

I got my new pro in today, yea!

Is the red led light always on or is there a way to turn it off? If I can't turn it off, will it drain the batteries if I leave them in overnight or should I take them out at night?

A 1/4 turn of the bottom will shut her off. If it doesn't, they are supposed to have replacement bottoms soon so you can swap with them. The red light would need to be on for about a month straight to kill the batteries.

Buzz has a new BP bottom cap design for ones that won't switch off, is working out the details on how to swap them for people who need/want to.

I really like being able to turn it off. My old model once melted an entire cartomizer because I laid it down in my car on the wrong side.

I hear you on that I'm waiting to see how the new Infinity Pro bottom caps are -- they may (only may -- not sure until it's tried) fit the original Infinity, in which case I'll be buying one.

On the Betas they don't fit. The IP beta is just a little larger around.

Mine doesn't either. If I do get it off the slightest bump turns it back on. I usually stand all my PVs so as soon as I stand it the switch goes on too.

1 of my brass ones are the same, it goes off OK, but the smallest tap and itis back on! The other 2 brass are harder to trun off, you can do it, but it is touchy and a tap turns them back on. As for the 2 chromes... they just don't go off.

It's all good... I have just sent the email Mike requested... and looking forward to getting new caps!

My brass one works fine but I never remember to turn it off. I usually have my holster clipped to my purse if I'm going out and about so no problem with misfires anyway. It's a great feature tho
