Question about flavored, non-tobacco e-liquid...

I was under the impression that the flavors, are just flavors. But, when I received my Johnson Creek order today I noticed they smell tobacco-ish and they have tobacco essential oils in them. They ARE zero nicotine, fyi.

Are all flavored e-liquids like this, or are there ones that are *just* flavors and no tobacco? Will I have to make my own to get around that?

I have CaSH juice on the way too, does anyone know about his?

i bought the JC sampler over 2 weeks ago....in all y samples they did smell tobaccoish and seemed oily too...i didnt really care for it.

i jus received my cash sampler and 10ml of energee and true menthol.....im trying the energee as i type this.....heaven.....great stuff...ive been vaping soo much this past hour my mouth hurts

I love the stuff, but PureSmoker always seems to be out. Then I figured out that Red Bull is pretty much the same thing . . . or close enough that I can't tell the difference.

Justin--I think many of the flavors do have a tobacco undertone to them. I have noticed, though, that a few do not. For example, the Peach from PureSmoker doesn't have even a hint of tobacco.

Justin, I'm not certain I understand your concern. Anything with nicotine is going to have come somehow from tobacco. For no-nicotine, if you order tobacco tastes there will probably be the oils you mention. You didn't say what you ordered so can't offer further feedback.

I ordered zero nicotine liquids, that's why I didn't expect it.

Justin, if you ordered the sampler pack from JC. They only come in medium nicotine strength. Not zero.

Nope, I ordered 3 separate flavors (Arctic Mint, Vanilla Ice Cream, & Peach Cobbler, all PG) in 0mg.

If you are ordering strictly 0 nic juice, you really ought to think about just making them yourself. You'll save a ton of money, and get flavors you like more.

Okay, now it makes much more sense. No, I'm not sure why there would be tobacco oils in those. It's not a generic label is it? Kate might know. If she doesn't show up you can invite her to the thread with a pm.

I think it is a generic label because it has the safety warning that begins with: "Warning: This product contains nicotine..." and they just check the boxes of what you ordered but I smelled all 3 and they all have a definite tobacco scent along with the flavor. I think i'll send them back since JC has a great return policy. I will check with Kate if she doesn't show up though, thanks.

I have a couple bottles of CaSH (Cola & Green Apple) on the way and TW Cola & Unflavored. Hopefully they won't have any tobacco oils, but if they do, i'll just use them to mix my own. I had planned too later anyway, I already bought VG and flavoring...just wanted to start with commercial e-liquid for ease.

Thanks Walrus, I actually read that thread earlier when I visited the DIY forum. I'm definitely going to give it a shot since commercial e-liquid is quite expensive. I already purchased VG and flavorings for later but I guess i'll break them out now.

I ordered a couple TW's though that should be arriving soon...glad to see you like them. I was going to just order the unflavored after seeing Rita's video, but I also ordered Cola since I saw a few good reviews and it's one of my favorite flavors.
