What is the best quality one out there? My BFF got one for xmas that her husband bought from Preferred vaper but it is like loose. She uses it in 18650 mode and she said the top cap pops out if she tries to screw it all together reasonably tight. I mean it feels wobbly when I hold it because she has to keep it so loose. Is there a better clone out there? I am thinking about getting her one for her b day if there is because this one is junk it seems unless I can mod it for her somehow. I haven't had time to really take it apart and look at it yet but something just isn't right. I thought maybe this was a common problem with it and someone may know of a fix. Thanks :)

Dont buy clones. Im sure not the answer you were looking for but its an answer;-) The Magneto is supposed to be a fairly well made mech mod. Thats easy on the pocket book.

Those mods are made as cheaply as possible buy a company who cant even come up with a original design and then they sell you a piece of junk! Not much value for your buck there.

I have two MKB-TS's by Rainbow Heaven - no problems with the top caps. They stand side-by-side with my genuine GG's and perform quite well.

If you are referring to the brass piece, it should screw into the collector tank quite snug. If you are experiencing otherwise the unit is defective.

A good combo that allows the top cap to be left off involves a single 510-to-ego adapter, no top cap, and a Terminator with a 510 base. The ego adapter allows the Terminator to sit flush against the collector tank without the brass cap.

There are at least two other manufacturers besides RH that make these - I can't speak to those as they aren't in my possession.

This part might settle the issue if all you are trying to do is connect a 510 atomizer:

I had a chance to look it over really good. Its the press fit 510 part that pops out if you screw the bottom on too far. I used an extra o ring from an AGA parts bag to slide up under where the bottom portion is wobbly when in telescope mode. Now it feels solid. I wish the Positive pin assembly was a screw in rather then press fitted. All in all it's not a bad mod after a few tweaks.
