Question about modifications

Hi all,

I have a flat top Zmax and I've been using it as my work vape. I like it but aesthetically I am bothered by the large gap between the bottom of my tank and the supposed "flat" top. I was thinking I'd like to have something made that would screw in place of the flat top so that it is more flush. It would be the same height but would go straight out to the edge instead of angling down. Who would I take that to? I don't even know where to start.

How about a big fat o-ring slid down over that gap?

When I bought my Provari, I bought a ring that sits over the beveled top to make it more "square". I rarely bother with it now, as I have embraced the gap.

Try googling Zmax beauty ring. I know Provari makes one for their mod so maybe Zmax also makes one.

The only suggestions reference the round top zmax, so I'll have to DIY. Should I try a metal worker or something?

I would guess, having a one-off metal ring made would cost more than your ZMAX

OP has referenced one the reasons I hate to use my Zmax. When I bought it, I thought "flat" top meant it was flat all the way across. Silly me. Otherwise, I like using the mod. Ed_C. you have a great idea. I'm going to put a band around it and call it done!
