Hole size depends on your style of vaping, whether you mouth to lung hit, lung hit, the build, etc. Many folks get by just fine with the stock size air intakes in the Reomizers and other atty's. I'm a very long lung hitter that hits until the lungs are full, so I like larger holes in mine... around 3/64"-5/64".
Even have a Cyclone that has been enlarged to 7/64", near big enough to park a Cadillac in.

I see. Makes sense. I am a mouth to lung hit then. But I don't want to suck too hard. Lol, this conversation is getting weird. Ha.
Guess I'd have to see.
I'm gonna call Reo-Rob tomorrow.

When I first got a REO, yes I carried spare battery and atomizer. Now that I'm using the RM2 with it, no need. As I mentioned, I'm going on 2 months with this RM2 build, and no problems at all.

If you get the AW IMR 18650's that Robert recommends, you can go all day without changing the battery. Maybe after 9 or 10 hours you can change it up, but really depends how much you vape. You'll notice a drop off in performance around then (usually down to about 3.7-3.9 volts, from it's start at 4.19), you just don't want to go below about 3.5, the vape is poor at that level.

These days, all I carry is the REO. And as for vaping style, I also vape mouth to lung and the stock airhole in the RM2 is just fine for me.

I used 306 and a few 510 atomizers for nearly 3 years with my Reo, before I got my 1st RM2 rba.
Bottomfeed compatible 306 and 510 atomizers work perfectly on a Reo and deliver very good taste for mouth-2-lung hits.
If you aim for these types of atomizers, get a standard Reo (with possibly a standard RM2 to try RBAs).

Otherwise, go for the LP Reo with an LP RM2 (or any other BF RBA, you like).
It takes little practice to build an RM2, but the LP Reo opens the complete vaping world for you.
Different rbs allow single/dual/triple coils, cotton/silica/mesh wicks, direct lung hits, whatever you like to try.

In my case, my old Standard Reo has been converted to LP.
And my last dozen 306 atomizers is stored in the shelf and will probably sit there forever.

Welcome to Reoville fwellers,

I highly recommended you check out the videos of SuperX, ( as the one recommended by Spydro ). https://www.youtube.com/user/sxmxdrifter. They are the best introduction to Reos that I know of.

Keep up posted on your arrival to Reoville, we are always happy to see new residents moving in.
