I hope to eventually order a Chuck, and I'm leaning toward the Little Chuck. Do those of you who chose the Little Chuck regret not getting the larger Chuck?

Also, does the Little Chuck feel very heavy when one is holding it? I'm asking because I have some pain in my hands, possibly arthritis. The larger diameter (compared to my eGo) might be a good thing, but not if it's heavy enough so that I feel the need to grip it much more tightly. This is one of the reasons that I think a regular sized Chuck would be a bad decision for me.

Thanks for any input!

It's all personal preference, but I don't regret getting a little chuck at all...obviously, since I bought 2 more :D. I do VG, so I'm very happy with 3.7V...I get crazy amounts of vapor. And it balances so well in your hand that it doesn't feel heavy, it just feels solid and comfortable. Good news is, you can always get a big chuck as your second one;)

You can read every thread in the forum and you won't find anyone regretting their purchase of either a Chuck or a Little Chuck. But a Little Chuck might be better for you if you have arthritis because I don't actually "grip" it at all, it just rests in my fingers as if posing for an "in-hand" pic, with the bottom sitting on the side of my pinkie.

I find even the Little Chuck is heavy. You can hold it in one hand. IMO the Little Chuck is not that much better than a 510. This is a 3.7 volt. I think a 5-6 volt would be better. I have ordered one of these. The Chuck does produce 5 volts. There are different mod that are smaller that produce 3.7 and 5 volts. Some of these are smaller. You may want to find out how much it weighs before purchasing one.

Thanks, all!

Thanks, Martha. I'll email Jeff and see if he will weigh one for me when it gets closer to time to order one. I'm not really sure that I need the power of the regular Chuck, though. I've been an ultra lights smoker for a long time now. I think once I work through my newbie issues, my eGo will be just fine for me, so I'll probably just stick with it if it seems that the Little Chuck would hurt my hands. I mainly want one because they're pretty. I'm a sucker for an awesome rep in an aesthetically pleasing package.

I also ordered the Chuck and got batteries, and the adapter kit for both, plus some cartomizers ...... I like having "options" ... even if I don't uses them ... they're there ;)

I also have arthritis in my hand ... but it's not the weight that gets me, it's using my index finger to push a switch ... when my finger hurts, I just use my thumb to press the switch ... haven't had any issues :)

Theres almost no weight difference w no batts in them, the batts add a bit of weight but basically the only difference in the big /lil chuckk is an inch of copper piping....very minimal.... I really dont **think** ull have any arthritic issues using it, but no guarantees ;) I LOVE my Chucks and highly recommend them to anyone wanting a completely maintenance free mod.:)

Hmmm, if your little chuck is not better than a stock 510, you are not doing something right:?: What kind of battery are you using in your little chuck? My little chuck hits better than sticking two stock 510's in my mouth at the same time.

I actually think the diameter of the Chucks are very well suited for Arthritics. Some of the other "skinnier" mods may actually be harder for someone with arthritis to hold on to methinks.

They are heavier than my "other" mods, but shouldn't be so heavy as to cause you problems.

The button is small, but is very easily depressed... some mods I've notice the button can be touchy at times, even to the point of having to press hard and move it around to make contact. Of course I won't mention these in another sellers subforum..and they are still good mods.

But honestly, when I was up north, I had problems during the winter with the joints in my hands, and I think the Chuck would probably have been the one I would have chosen.

EDIT: Just realized Ladycat was telling, not asking. Oh well. I'm not deleting it, that took me like 10 minutes to type.

That's what I thought when I first started having pain in my hands. For me, though, it seems to be both about the size and the weight. When I bought my Kindle, I bought a cover for it thinking that it would be easier on my hands. Turns out, the added weight and the bulk of the cover forced me to grip it, which was uncomfortable. Without the cover, it just sort of rests in my hand without me having to get a death grip on it. Same thing happened when I tried to buy a fat pen-- the added weight caused it to be even more uncomfortable than a skinny pen.

My eGo just rests in my hand, so it's not uncomfortable at all. I think the larger diameter of the Little Chuck will be even better, as long as it's not too heavy.

Any of you happen to have a small scale handy? ;)

(to Wafflestomper) LOL ... I do so love your posts ... you always make me laugh :p

Me, too. :)

Thank you. I really think a Little Chuck will suit my needs, but that's good to know in case I read something that makes me lust after the big one instead.

I have 2 Little Chucks and I use CR123 which are recommended. This is 3.7 volts which is not much more than a 510. Yes to me they don't produce much more than my 510s. I have been vaping for 10 months so I know I am not doing anything worng. That just my opinion.

Fair enough. Everyone's opinion is different and you are certainly entitled to yours, but just so the OP is not deterred by your opinion...

The 3.7V of a cr123 (or preferably 18350) is not the same as 3.7V of a stock batt. For one thing, neither are 3.7V when they come off the charger (they are both 4.2V).
The big difference (that most people see) between a Chuck at 3.7V and a stock batt at 3.7V is that the itty bitty stock batt gasps in shock when it sees the huge load that an atty puts on it. And the voltage drops considerably when it cowers in fear.
The big ... 1200mAh batt in a Chuck laughs at the load of the atty and says, "that all you got? pfft" and as a result delivers more voltage to the atty. It will also hold that 4+ volts for a considerably long time compared to the stock batts (which will measure closer to 3.7V after about 10 hits). So the consistency of hits from a chuck is much better than the 'hit and miss' (pun intended) vapes that you get from a stock batt.

Again just my .02
