Question for social/drinking smokers

I only smoke when drink, never otherwise except maybe a cigarette if I had a rough day, so unless I'm drinking, I can say I would average 1 or 2 cigarettes a week. I have a horrific urge to smoke if I'm drinking though. I just cannot imageine an E Cig being enough to satisfy that desire. Is there anyone else who is only a social smoker, have you found an ecig enough?

I'm honestly too afraid to try and find out because say if it's not enough? It really doesn't seem to satisfy when I puff on them, maybe because I never have a desire to smoke unless I'm drinking. It just really doesn't seem the same.

I would think it would be easier if you were using an e-juice with a LOT of flavor and throat hit, like Atomic Fireball for example. Maybe a little bit higher nicotine than you normally use, too.

I'm really new at this, but could you tell me, or point me to a thread about the proper use of these? I use the Vapor4life Vapor King, and they only talk about the refilling of them once they run out, and it you cannoot use it while it's still wet, has to dry over night. I also have a 510, but haven't really used it. I can just drop some drops into that, since it's more accessible?

I really don't have any experience with cartomizers, so I'll leave that answer for someone who does.

I use the 510, both carts and dripping. When dripping, I drip two drops (a couple of seconds apart) directly onto the atomizer bridge, then put an empty cart on (no filler inside) to vape. I vape until the taste seems a little "off", then repeat the process with two more drops.

With a regular cart, I put enough drops of juice onto the filler to make it moist, but not enough to pool the juice on top. Put the cart back on and vape until it tastes "off", then put a few more drops on the cart filler and repeat.

I've never actually counted, but probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-15 decent-sized puffs.

Thanks, i'll give that a shot, then i suppose my next issue will be the battery life of the 510, but I'm sure there are plenty of threads for alternatives. Just hear the battery doesn't last very long. But I've never tried it long enough for it to even be an issue because there was barely any vapor.

Unless you drink everyday, I kind of wonder why you need an e cig at all. For me if it was only when I drink, well it would be like once every other month or so. And yes, I believe it's enough. If it's enough for hardcore 3 pack a day smokers, then yes it would be enough for someone who smokes 1 or 2 cigarettes a week. LOL

If you're not getting enough vapour then a drop of glycerine will deliver spectacular results! Just drop it in the cart as you would if topping off.

Well, I don't think you CAN expect the same results from vaping as you do with smoking. They are different creatures. It's an adjustment all the way around. The only way you will know is to try it.

Another idea is to add a couple drops of Everclear to your cart. That will definitely increase throat hit. I think that would be a big help in this situation.

Wow, good idea, I don't know if they sell that in VA though. Is there something else I could use? Would 151 rum work?
