Just got a quick question about the charger that comes with the OMGAD kit. Does anyone know what the orange light means? I know Red is charging and green is done, but a couple times I have gotten a orange light. Usually when I see the orange light I pull it off right away because I don't want anything bad to happen. I don't have a muti-meter handy so i haven't checked to see if it is fully charged. It works fine and seems to have a normal life(a good days use) before I notice a difference and then charge the battery. I am almost thinking it does this right before it is done, because the times it has gone green I wasn't watching it and happened to look at it and it was green. The times i saw it orange was when I had it charging by my computer and it is in plain view and I notice it right away. The other times I really wasn't watching the time it took, but today I did and it was just about 2 hours on the charger when it went orange.

thanks for any help/info!!

alright so I am charging the included battery in the included charger. It was on for about 3 hours. Just turned orange. I actually think it is red and green at the same time making it orange. It seems to me that it is getting more orange less red as time goes. So I am sitting here watching it. And I verified that the green light works. Usually I put the battery in then plug it in. Today I plugged it in(light turned green) then I put the battery in and it went red..... Update ..... now it seems to be a bit of a yellow....... update its about 35 minutes later and it is now a very light green. final update another 15 minutes went by and the light is now green. So the battery was on the charger for around 4 hours total.

Contact Cs at 847-239-5374 if you're not getting a charge from the battery. From the sound of it, the charger seems to be charging the battery but you're just getting the orange-ish light. As both Mr. M and I said, we've never seen this but we'll get it taken care of for you.

Yeah i suspect the green LED turns on and they red very slowly turns off making the Red - Orange - Yellow - Green light. Doesn't bother me. Now i kind of think of it as a almost done charging indicator...lol

yeah it seems to charge fine. I really wish i had a multi meter to check it. with all my interest in mods and such i guess getting one would be a pretty good idea. and don't want or need another one of these chargers. I have a intelligent charger on the way! But either way in the OMGad it works like a champ for a good 8-10 hours before i start thinking it might need to be recharged.

I'm happy i could be of a bit of help too. and once i had a chance to actually watch it, it was easy to see what was going on. IDK if they all do this and is just over looked or if there is something different going on, but it is a help knowing that when it isn't as red it is getting up there in volts and i can keep a closer eye on it. Even when my intelligent charger gets here(from another vendor) i will still be using this one. takes up less space when i only need to charge 1 versus the four slot charger.

also Mr. M sir, you kind of touched on it, but seemed a bit unclear so i must ask. Does it open up enough for a 18650 to fit?

Thanks again for the help.
