Question regarding Aluminum foil in a mech mod.

So I have a nemesis clone with the silver pins. My firing button is not consistent because the 18650 battery has a short top and the silver pins on a neme clone at the bottom has a hole in the middle of the pin. Here comes my question.

I put an aluminum foil in that hole of the silver pin so that everytime i push the button it fires now. Is this safe to do?

Most likely not. Just buy a 1mm magnet spacer.

It's safe, in the aspect that it can't get anywhere near hot enough to vaporize Aluminum, but it's probably not your best bet to begin with.
